Christian bronies: meet, greet, and mingle!

It seems that a lot of members in this fandom are Christians. ^^

Quite so. And from my experience, most Bronies coexist with different beliefs quite well as long as they're not shoving it in each other's faces.

Christian Bronies

What's your favorite Bible verse? ^^

This is one of my favorites, I don't have just one
Matthew 5:14-16
King James Version (KJV)
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Nice to see that even though this forum has a huge Atheist population, that there are some Christians here.

Christian-Baptist for me.

Neo-Christianity is where I lean towards...

... however, I should warn you: most of the topics get locked.

"Time is just an illusionary factoid that all natural things are bound to. It has the power to crumble even the mightiest of mountains into little more than dust, yet if it is an illusion, why is this so? Because people waste a lot of time, only wishing they had more. Little do people realize an inescapable fact: Time governs those who wish they had more of it. By wishing you could use it better, you govern time, and you can get all the time you'll ever need." — Starfall, Quillwaver

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. (Ephesians 4:2)

No using the name of God, your God, in curses or silly banter, God won't put up with irreverent use of his name (Exodus 20:7)

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. (Ephesians 4:29)

I thought Mormons believed in the Trinity? Or am I mistaken?

Mormons are Nontrinitariamns: which means we reject the mainstream Christian doctrine of the Trinity, namely, the teaching that God is three distinct hypostases or persons who are co-eternal, co-equal, and indivisibly united in one being

Words, my dear.  The worst persecution you're likely to face on the internet is the odd joke or two.  Comparing that to the oppressive regimes of real-world tyrants is just silly.

well, i think he didn't mean it literally. however, as someone who does spend a lot of time online, Christians are pretty heavily persecuted on the internet on certain sites. thankfully not this one (mostly...), but online is where you will find the most hatred towards Christians, and really towards any religion.

or anything.

Have you been on the debate pit yet?

I made a thread on the section about how people should give some more respect towards Christians.

To this very day I get replies like "God is evil!" or "The Bible is corrupt!" and even "God condones rape, murder, and slavery!".

Now I don't hate agnostics, but boy is there ALLOT of buttheads out there.

As I said months ago, verbal ridicule is not persecution.  Persecution implies a loss of rights.  American Christians have not lost any rights as a result of our online discussions.  If your beliefs are ridiculed verbally and logically, you are free to defend them verbally and logically.  Or you can ignore them.  It's up to you.  It's always been up to you.

You're right about there being a lot of buttheads out there (but be careful, lest the over-zealous mods on this site punish you for justifiably calling buttheads out on being buttheads).

As for the people who claimed that "God is evil" or "God condones rape, murder and slavery"...their claims are understandable.  Rather than complain about them making those claims, you should look into those claims to determine their validity, then refute them directly.

If you can.
