After looking at the sculptures, Rain trotted over to the nearest snack table and picked up a hay and daisy sandwich.

He took a few bites and wandered back to the pond, He sat down and let his hind legs fall into the water. A few fish swam over and nibbled at his hooves.

Evergreen smiled shyly, and took the mare's hoof. "Evergreen of Manehattan. But this place is my home now, and I usually go by Eve." She shook it somewhat gently, and then said, "It's nice to meet you." She stopped to look at the topiary they stood next to, which had taken the shape of Lila. The topiaries loved to shift form to look like visiting ponies. She smiled.

Earth Opal examined the soil, amazed at the rich quality of it that nourished the plants around him, probably also contributing to their friendly attitude toward visitors. "If I were able to do something like this, I could double my knowledge of magic. I simply must ask her about this."

Smiling Silver followed Leaf to wherever he was going, "where are we going?" She asked. She flew up beside him and looked below, her heart raced as she realized how high they were. Out of instinct she flew closer to Leaf for protection and comfort. "Oh I'm sorry Leaf, I'm just a little nervous .. I've never flown so high before"

"Yea, I don't mind that at all, I wanted to go to that pond there first." he explained to Silver. Leaf would really love to know what the pond would be like. After a minute, they had just arrived at the pond, they landed on the edge to find that there was some sort of deer there.

"Like wise." Lila saw Eves eyes shift to the topiaries and smiled. "Not bad. Even got my mane down. How did you do that?" She asked. There was a spark and her horn lit a briliant white flame. The flora around almost seemed to shrink and Lila took a step back unsure of what she did wrong.

Silver took a deep breath " I'm Silver Sun, but you can call me Silver" she was nervous about this, she had just gotten used to Leaf's company and now she had to meet someone new.. "Oh Celestia, I don't know if I can do this" she turned to Leaf for reassurance and comfort...

"I'm...not getting off with the greatest of first impressions am I?" - Dusk said nervously, trying to make light of the whole situation.

When Star placed her hoof in his, he felt his heart skip a beat. His first reaction would normally be to pull away as soon as she touched him - but he knew that was the wrong reaction in this case, his hoof pulled the slightest twitch away at first, but then he relaxed, and placed his other hoof on top of Stars.

The words echoed in his head over and over - *The plants are nervous, you just have to show them you're friendly - they're nervous...show them you're friendly...they're nervous...* 

 

While he mulled over these words in his head, he stared down contently at Stars hoof in his.

Evergreen had just been about to explain that she didn't do it, that the plants did it themselves, when, like the topiaries surrounding them, she recoiled from the fire that suddenly poofed out of Lila's horn. Her ears had plastered back. Like her precious garden, she feared fire...

Star Rain looked around and saw that the flowers had stopped reacting to their presence. Then she looked down and saw Dusk's other hoof over her's. She turned really red and looked up, noticing that he was looking down while deep in thought. She started to get a little impatient and wanted to move away from the dark area to somewhere else. Then she saw a pathway leading to a very pretty pond. " Hey, Dusk! Let's go over there!" she said, pointing her free hoof at the pond.

Marisa was anxious to get to the garden, she was hoping it would give her inspiration. She went to the (place with all the flowers...) first, she figured since it had the most color, it would help the most, but you never know.

 

She sat down at one of the benches, trying to tune out the other ponies at the party to concentrate on writing. She had brought a notepad to write down idea's so she could look at them later.

Rain walked over to the snack table and stood there for a moment. *Now what...I just used that as an excuse to get away.* He thought, Staring at the table. He turned around and sat down on a stone bench surrounded by some pretty blue flower's he didn't know the name of. When he sat down, The flower's all turned as if they were looking at him.

"If you don't want to that's fine, I just don't know what to say at the moment" she giggled nervously and looked at the colorful fish in the pond.

Scamps saw Goldseek with a new pony, so Scamps decided to venture over to Evergreen herself. She somewhat knew what Evergreen looked like, but not a whole lot. Just enough to recgonize her. Shewalked over to them and awkwardly shuffled her hooves again. "Um, hi. Evergreen, and um..." She looked at the orange stallion. "Sorry, I don't know your name."

Nightfall couldn't stand it. He shut down his shop early and nearly yelled. His customers had been getting more and more rude, and the work load was increasing. He couldn't stand it. He knew he would be a bit late, but he set of to the 'party' he had been invited to. He was still a bit moody when he arrived and knocked on the gate.

Diamond was walking down the dirt road towards Evergreen's garden. She adjusted her sunhat and trotted through the gate. "Now...Were is Eve ?" She thought, looking around the garden.

 

 

 

Rain was still sitting on the bench, admiring the pretty blue flower's that surrounded him.

Shell slightly smiled and sat down next to the pony. "So what do they call you? They call me Shell, but my true name is Palos... at least, back home it is." He felt a little bit comfortable around this pony, he seemed just as rejected as he was. "Ponies only see me as a monster because i have a chitin shell that's a foot thick. My actual insides are half the size of my exterior."

"Oh, that's... a bit interesting... My name is Somber Tunes... But, you can just call me Somber if you want...", Somber said, still staring at the shell of Shell.

She happily seized upon the distraction provided in the form of a familiar-looking pegasus pony. She couldn't remember her name... It had been a while.  "Hello," Eve said, voice still a tiny quiver.
