Well in my opinion they are both separate things, Though... I learned from experience that Pony hypnosis can be a good tulpa making guide, it will state there the pony's personality, strengths, weaknesses etc... Well you have to alter how you think while doing a session. Like Rather than thinking yourself you're Pinkie pie, You'll focus more on thinking about Pinkie pie.  

I swear to god I accidentally think about twilight rather than thinking that I am twilight and after 2-3 weeks it kinda made my mind think about twilight sparkle almost all the time and there was a point where I kinda heard her voice

I'll continue the hypnosis for now, then make the transition to tulpa... or just see if it happens accidentally... which in my case would make it a lot easier xD

[Hiii! *hugs*]   Hiya! It's going good for the both of us, and Ariel's happy now, of course xD   But yeah, rain sure is an interesting trigger, isn't it?   It just makes me want to go out there, because I think about being up in the sky and manipulating the clouds!

Also, I've noticed before. Whenever I see someone reading a book I get this weird sensation flowing, Like waves... I think it's a good trigger for me.. though it's not very strong yet... It kinda makes me want to... read a book or buy a book

My personal suggestion, if there is a desire to have a tulpa while you're doing hypnosis, at some time one will eventually come to you (myself I got my first one around 4 months after I started). For now, I recommend focusing one either one or the other as both take a bit of dedication to fully work.

It was weird. When we switched i went into the wonderland and was in my pony body. I gotta say being a tulpa is one feeling that is hard to describe. Fluttershy did tell me that she did visualize me when she was in control.

Also I'm no expert but I heard that you will sometimes mistake your tulpa's mindvoice as your own voice in the beginning on your tulpaforcing journey... So sometimes whenever you talk to your self in your mind, and if you unconsciously reply to yourself with your own voice/a different mind voice, believe it as it was your tulpa that said that and not you, because it will/might help the development of your tulpa X). I'm not sure though

...Speaking of. I was mentally groaning about that sore place on my back, when Ariel offered to massage it for me. Before I could even really protest or say anything, I definitely felt hooves massaging my back. Strangely enough, it wasn't unlike the sensations you get during the massage in the spa file. Ariel was almost certainly actually giving me a massage!

Yes, it was mostly a one-way conversation. During forcing sessions, I concentrated only on her and the traits I wanted her to have. So, I was more telling her things with the presumption that she was listening to me. Outside of those sessions, I would mentally comment to her about various things - kind of like those idle thoughts you have, but directed towards her instead. Her first words came when I least expected it, and though it was more of an echo of myself, I knew it was her.

 

Heh, I still remember... I was grumbling to myself about my jerk of an ex-boyfriend (whom I was still in a relationship with at the time), and suddenly in the middle of my thoughts was - big jerk! I asked if it was her, but she didn't respond afterwards. She didn't talk very much, but it gradually became more. Later, she told me it was because she couldn't talk very well at first and had to learn how, pretty much like how a child has to learn how to talk when they're young. So she mimicked me sometimes, until she could form words and sentences on her own. ^-^
