Tha aside, though, Twilight reminds me of my mother. Super organized, loves to read...the whole thing (except my mother has a little less extreme breakdown over things she can't understand/control). Twilight is a great character mainly because she feels sort of like a trope at first glance (socially awkward nerd), but when you delve deeper she is super relatable.

It's so wholesome that she reminds you of your mother. Now that you mention it, my mom is like Twilight in some ways too. I also had that impression of Twilight at first! I used to be a nerd in the past but a very social one so the more I watched the show and she made more and more friends the more I identified with her!!!

I like all Mane Six characters really, despite their flaws, no one is perfect. And I don't believe Twilight Sparkle's obsession with books and trivia is boring, shaming others for hobbies or being educated, is not cool.
