searching Ancient Rome RP (Searching)

The setting: An alternative ancient Rome with ponies that we determine it's story, there will be a ceaser, if anyone has an alicorn OC that's where he/she goes, there will be civilians, and there will be army ponies, and there will be advisors/other workers of the kingdom.

The situation: there has been a changeling invasion that was fended off, but now the empire is possibly inhabited by changelings hiding, and if the police finds him he's dead meat, so there could potentially be someone with a changeling OC to be the hiding guy.

 

This is a standard, private RP, though I will accept most people who enroll, it's private so I can moderate it.

 

Here are the rules:

1. There will only be 1 alicorn OC allowed, as the ceaser, other than that, no alicorns.

2. Your character has to be some form of equine, as in ponies, zebras, griffons, but no monsters. Or if you have something else, I'll tell you if it's eligible specifically.

3. No hardcore violence.

4. Keep everything PG-13, you determine what is and what isn't appropriate, but as a generalization, if you're not sure if something is or isn't that, imagine you're telling it to a 12-year old, then decide.

5. Don't Mary Sue it up, no one is perfect, so don't make him/her perfect.

6. Other than that, you can do whatever you want, just keep in mind this is ancient Rome, so, try to make sense.

 

The RP is not yet running, so there is no link yet. Also, I am not going to be the ceaser, because I don't have an alicorn OC, and I don't want one, so feel free to enroll as one, until someone gets the part.

Hmmmmm, trying to keep it PG 13 considering the time period is going to be really hard. I might be interested in this, considering I like the time period, but I have to ask; what is the goal?

That sounds like an alright starting point.  I think that idea needs a bit more fleshing out, but at least it is a starting point.

I don't really think so, unless it's a changeling hiding in the kingdom as a normal pony, okay that would be perfect. But not like, the changeling empire, I don't want to mess with that. So who are you going to RP as?

Hello. I would like to formally request to join this RP, for it is nerdy through and through. I would prefer to use my alicorn ponysona, Minath, but I prefer not to be Ceaser, for I do not enjoy ruling over ponies. I'm more of a head advisor, scond in command kinda gal.

 

If Minath is rejected due to my aversion for ruling, I would like to use Star Gazer. I think her stargazing skills would come in handy in an ancient time period.

A RP about rome... thats PG 13? .... thats like asking a monkey to ride a unicycle while juggling chainsaws and is on a tight rope while the gravity of the planet is being lowered and giant meteors hit the earth! (two or three of which i believe already happened, not all at the same time though)

Okay, a couple things:

 

1. It's Caesar, not ceaser, and it's a family name, not a title
2. Are you really sure it's a good idea to have the person ruling the empire be a player and not the DM?
3. I wouldn't have said either of those things if I wasn't intent on joining. I'll be back with a character soon.

Looks quite interesting, although as Alex pointed out Caesar is not a title. Also, by Caesar, do you mean emperor, consul, or dictator? Julius Caesar was both consul and dictator, and Augustus Caesar was an official emperor(The first one.)
