- To whom it may concern:

 

So, you've decided to join the Lunar Republic. From this day forth, you are part of the greatest army ever to exist in Equestrian soil. We will overthrow the tyrant Celestia and our Princess of the Moon bring forth equality and unity of all races: Ponies, Dogs, Griffons, and all other races alike!

 

Who am I you ask? My name is Curatio but you may call me the Supreme Commander. But before we get into battle, I must know which branch of the Lunar Military you wish to join:

The mission for both factions will be given by the Supreme Commanders of each faction. When engaging each other...don't kill other players without the consent of both players.

Personality: With him being so dark colored and all, such as his eyes and his mane, naturally he would be a night-pony.

 

Biography: He was always looking at the shadows, trying to figure out what they were. He started studying the forbidden shadow magic, where you can bend shadows to your will. But when the war began, his friends betrayed him because he loved the night sky and the stars and shadows. It may sound lame, but the shadows you command can morph into anything you can imagine, might it be a tiny mouse, or the mightiest DRAGON!! And, they can touch and feel and hold things. But they are easily destroyed by sunlight, and other kinds of light magic and stuff. He mostly uses his shadow magic to morph into something to sneak around. He also learned a great spell where you can use shadow knives that can cut through almost ANYTHING! He is brave, but very suspicious. He only trusts Supreme Commander and Princess Luna, but if you become his best friend he will trust that friend. He is smart and very strong and super fast, and he is very good at casting different types of night magic, such as moonlight healing. That is him.

Personality: Very easygoing and loyal, very protective of ponies and other species that he considers friends, is very dangerous in battle

Biography: Strong Hooves thinks of every species as an equal to the pony race, therefore he never agreed with Celestia's rule of dominance over the other species. He was always the strongest of the other ponies, and his large stature tends to intimidate other ponies, so making friends for him is difficult, but he works every day to make himself stronger. He decided to join the Lunar Republic in hopes of living in unity with Luna ruling Equestria.

Personality: Dewdrop is a passive and calm unicorn for the most part. She tries to remain relaxed and gentle as a common citizen, however is severely loyal to Princess Celestia, and will do what she can for her, no matter the demand.

Biography: Dewdrop is a young Unicorn who was accepted in the school for gifted unicorns. Her specialty was with water. She can create small amounts of water for both offensive, and defensive uses. She is also able to create different forms of diversions/obstacles such as a misty fog in small areas. Dewdrop is still under studies in magic, but is always willing and able to serve Celestia. Dewdrop does care for other living things as much as other ponies, but she likes the way of life she has had with Celestia in the throne, and she is scared of the changes to come with her sister's return.

Appearance: A dark blue coat that almost seems to blend into the night, in sharp contrast to his emerald-green eyes.

Cutie Mark (if any): A bird. Dichromate doesn't know what bird it's supposed to be (cutie marks aren't that detailed), he's been trying to figure out for ages.

​Personality: Talkative and social, but in combat all forms of banter shut down. He is calm, tactful, and agrresive, with only one objective in mind, victory. This is the way he was trained.

Biography: Although not the fastest in his class, he proved to be a brave military commander, that wasn't afraid to die for the cause, but actually had the common sense to retreat when things were not in his balance. His flying skills are commendable, but where he really shines is on the battlefield, in command of soldiers. He has proven to be a skilled commander, utilizing all sorts of ambushes, decoys, and every last ounce of micromanagement possible. For this, the lunar republic has noticed him, and promoted him to the rank of Captain in the air force. With his recent victories, he is hoping for a promotion, although he does not show it.

Personality: Generally a friendly pony. Fiercely loyal to whomever is on "his side." Blatant, introverted, meticulous, somewhat cryptic, and focused on reality. Follows what seems logical, not emotionally rooted.

Biography: Wobbels was always an intellectual, spending his time thinking and relaxing instead of doing his schoolwork. He would always sit back during interactions between classmates and watch as they settled their disputes, but always gave his opinion when he saw it fit to do so. He discovered throughout his childhood that all creatures in Equestria behaved similarly, and that everypony should be treated as equal. When Luna returned. he decided join the Lunar Republic and help out in any way that he could. Although not a particularly strong or agile pony, he is quite resilient when he believes that the rights of his allies are in danger.

Appearance: A dark, navy blue coat that slightly resembles Dichromate's own. His eyes His eyes are an icy aquamarine-blue.

Personality: Antisocial most of the time, except to those he knows very well.

Biography: Ampyrion had always loved water since he had grown up. When he was just 5, he had willed a dam to burst and put out a fire that was burning through his town. At 7, he had been the only survivor of a pony cruise ship that had sunk at sea. Water was like a friend, and he learned to both respect its power and admire its beauty. It was no surprise to him that his cutie mark became what it was, or that he could reach out to water in its natural molecular form, and shape it into something like a water ball, crystallize it into ice, or diffuse it into mist. His unicorn powers all base off of water in some way. Nonetheless, just as the sea, he is calm, fierce when provoked, and usually very lonely.

Biography: A former psychiatrist and a Mindscape (a visualization of a pony's thoughts and conscious) drifter in Ponyville, Midnight has a strong friendship bond with Twilight Sparkle, which is what the Solar Kingdom councillors is the only reason why he sticks around with the Solar Kingdom. His ability to play out various scenarios in his own Mind with his unicorn magic is what aids in his ability to rise to the rank of Supreme Commander.

Biography: A doctor and medicine stallion for a time in Ponyville. After the war broke out, Curatio saved Fluttershy from a magical barrage and she convinced him to join the New Lunar Republic. Curatio rose to the ranks from the Lunar Airforce Branch all the way to Supreme Commander after saving Princess Luna from a deathly illness. Considered an incompetant Commander because of his attachment to his troops.

Midnight Veil

 

"Ms. Sparkle, you seem...distant," Midnight said as he levitated some tea to his mouth. He glanced in between the table where the two were having lunch. The miniature flags symbolizing the territory of both the Solar Kingdom and Lunar Republic were drooping down on a scale model of the map of Equestria. In the center was Ponyville with a knife through the center and a large arrow drawn from Dragon Mountain.

 

Twilight looked to Midnight with saddness visible in his eyes. "I...I just found out the magic of friendship and Nightmare Moon brainwashes three of my friends. How can I not be a LITTLE upset?!"

 

"Don't worry," Midnight started, "We're going to end this war. But back to the matter at hand: I've talked to Princess Celestia. Her own abilities to control the sun have been faltering. Nightmare Moon is at her prime where as Celestia is weary from her thousandth year of controlling both the sun and moon..."

 

"I'll make this brief: Ponyville is the center of Equestria and because of Dragon's Mountain, we can't move troops very well through that area. So I'm sending the Solar Mages and Solar Airforce to take care of the problem. The orders are simple: The Mages will encircle the entire base of the mountain to cut off access while the Airforce keeps retaliation at bay. They'll be weak with starvation by next week and then we'll attack them."

 

Twilight merely nodded and left the room to give the orders to the Mages and send word to Rainbow Dash to do the same for the Airforce.

Out of Character: Alright, Midnight Veil is ordering the Mages and Airforce of the Solar Kingdom to siege the Dragon's Mountain area outside of Ponyville. Lunar Republic people can be involved by Rping that they are being trapped at Dragon's Mountain if they wish. If not, my next post will be the retaliation of the New Lunar Republic.
