She was still cold but the blanket helped warm her up.

 

There was another way to warm herself, but she didn't Want to attract attention with her green fire, also she was a Pegasus, so using magic would be a bad idea.

Firebolt looked back to him and quickly said "No. It's fine." With a smile. She looked back at the fire. As per usual, gorgeous. She thought to herself, sighing. Turning back to him she said "Nothing's wrong. I just heard something is all."

Electro Dash went up the ledge and sat down. She looked over the edge, over the scenery beneath her, at the sun as it sets below everything. And she allowed herself to remember what she had missed, the 5 years where she could not see the world, and how she felt as if she couldn't. She felt lonely, and distant from the others.

Thunder was feeling very awkward. He had no idea what to do in situations like these. He wasn't the romantic type, but he really liked her, and it seemed like maybe there was a connection between them. Maybe he should give her a compliment or something?

Splinter realized that Dox didn't even notice the wetness in his mane. This caused a large amount of laughter from Splinter. Enough to let Dox hear him. ''You didn't even notice! He didn't even noticed! Bwahahaha!'' Splinter said while chuckling so much he fell off the hammock. ''Oops. Lemme just get back up here'' Splinter said to himself while getting back up on the hammock.

"Uhm... Thanks?" Firebolt replied. Not sure if he was being legitimate. Her attention was suddenly drawn to Splinter yelling. She rolled her eyes, then layed her head down. Why am I hear again? She wondered. It's not like I have much of a reason for being here...

Thunder heard splinter yelling and glared. Was it so much to ask that they had a little peace and quiet? Then he noticed Firebolt once again seemed upset.

 

"Are you sure there's nothing wrong? If there's anything I can do to help, please tell me. Or if I'm doing something wrong, you can tell me, really."

Splinter noticed Firebolt and Thunder staring at him. ''What? Don't know what fun is?'' Splinter said while rolling his eyes. ''Oh well.. I guess I have enough time for a quick little nap.'' Splinter said while Looking to the side of the hammock. ''I wonder what she's doing on that side of the hammock.. Oh well! Nap time!'' Splinter thought before gazing off into a deep sleep.

Dox had felt something spray him in the back of the head, and he expected that it was just somepony messing with him. His assumptions became true when somepony behind him laughed so hard, they fell out of something. 'Serves 'em right...' He thought as he chuckled to himself.

Firebolt chuckled "Nah. I'm good." Repeating herself was getting a bit old. The only thing wrong is how uptight you are. She thought. Firebolt was getting tired, so she layed her head on the ground and closed her eyes, though she didn't fall asleep immediately.

He got the feeling he was just making things worse.

 

"I'm sorry I keep asking you, I just hate when I feel like people are uncomfortable around me, especially when I don't know why."

 

He realized she had closed her eyes.

 

"Are you going to sleep now? You don't mind if I lay next to you, do you?"

Firebolt sighed. That's kind of obvious. She thought to herself, but instead said. "Ah. It's fine. And I don't mind you laying next to me.' Her voice had dropped to a much quieter tone as she felt herself drifting off to sleep. She didn't feel like she would sleep well at all, but she tried to relax.

Dream laughed out loud when the pony didn't notice the wetness in her mane. Hilarious!

 

Dream decided to stay up a bit and continue her book. As she pulled out 'Daring Do and Poison Whispered Kiss', she noticed other ponies going to bed. 

 

"I'll go to bed later. We haven't even had dinner!" She said with a chuckle.

"Alright, well... good night, I guess."

 

Thunder shifted a little bit closer to her, hoping she wouldn't notice, or that she wouldn't care if she did. He sat and watched her sleep for a while. She looked so beautiful in the light of the fire. After a while, he realized he was staring at her, and people would probably start to think he was creepy if he kept it up. He laid his head down next to hers and tried to get some sleep.

A few minutes later, Rhonda appeared out of the woods with a cup of the Marantha sap.

Gears got right to work when he got it. A bunch of horrible and unpleasant machinery noises started coming from his tent. Within a half hour, he had finished. He saw Electro over by the cliff, and walked over.

"Hey, I made you your own Insta-tent. I just thought you might need one."

Gears smiled and blushed a little.

@, Electro Dash kept looking forward, too distanced to even want to look up. "thanks. why dont you sit with me? i feel distanced and kind of lonely right now. I'm thinking of something... that I did and i'm scared of it now... Have you ever done something that scares you? other than, those towns?"

Gears sat next to her, not too far but not too close. He considered her question.

"Pfft, where do I start..."

Gears took her question into even heavier consideration. He had done things we wasn't proud of, but not exactly that scared him.

"I suppose whenever I make something that can think on its own. Like Rhonda over there."

He pointed to the rusty robot whom was fiddling with a shovel in front of his tent.

"And there's the time that I....well, I have these two uncles; both are vastly different. Ones negative and anti-social and ones positive and doesn't really think about his actions. I suppose whenever I listen to either of them."

Gears used the term, "uncles" because he didn't want Electro to think he was crazy or something.

"Just tell her about us, you dolt!"

"Don't, she'll think you're some crazy psychopath!"

"aah OK." Electro Dash held his hoof and pulled him a little closer. "I have a secret. It scares me and it's probably the reason i'm not around that fire." She lowered her voice. "do you promise not to tell anypony? I'm an ex criminal. I was arrested for something i didn't do. It involved a hospital an a fire, but I really didn't do it i swear."

Gears kind of shifted at this. But this was soon overshadowed by the fact that she held him closer.

"I won't tell anypony, I promise. Hell, I could be considered an ex-criminal fo disturbing the peace, destruction of public and private property, and accidently hurting people."
