Electro Dash went back to her tent and sighed. She still had no idea how to set it up! So she just put it a few feet away and lay down her sleeping bag "guess i'll be sleeping under the stars tonight" she muttered to herself in annoyance, until she heard somepony heading their way. she Went over to him.

"well your a bit late arnt you?" she stuck her hoof out.

Firebolt chuckled at how nervous he was. "Nah. Your fine." She said calmly, poking him in the chest. "See? Now I don't need to look up at you." She smiled after saying that. Noticing another pony enter the camp site, she waved at him, happy the noise was just a pony.

Dox saw a green pegasus with an orange mane walking over to him. "Heh, yeah, I guess I am..." He shook her hoof, saying, "The name's Paradox. What's yours?" He then saw another pony waving at him, so he waved back, smiling. He began to take off his big, bulky backpack and lay it on the ground.

Electro Dash sighed in a slightly annoyed tone when he shook his hoof, but then got rid of the tone. "hey. Can I just call ya doxy? it's easier to say. anyway, it seems everypony is busy so i'll give you the names." she pointed to the large tent. "that over there is gr- Gears His name is gears. I... and him.... kind of... yeah ANYWAY over there on the hammock? The colt is Splinter, an the mare is Dreamwish. Now those two on the floor are Firebolt and BIG Thunder." she finally pointed to shade. "and... Actually I never got her name. She looks lonley. Why don't you talk to her while i go and find fire wood  so we can get the smores going?"

He looked over at her. "Yeah... She kinda does... I'll go over and talk to her." Leaving his bag on the ground, Dox slowly walked over to the black pony. "Uh... Hi there, I'm Paradox, what's your name?" He smiled at her and raised his hoof for her to shake it. "So... Nice night tonight, isn't it?"

Shade looked up at the pony that greeted her... "Shade" she responded... She hoof bumped his hoof knowing that he was expecting a shake...

 

"I guess it's nice" she replied looking up at the sky, it was a beautiful night, but to shade, it was just an ordinary night like the rest of them.

"Looks like couples are being formed. Not much of a surprise. Camping always brings the lovebird together." Dream said with a giggle. "So, Splinter, do you go camping often? I don't, honestly. I think it's a waste of time, but my mom forced me to go this time around."

Dox smirked inwardly. This pony seemed pretty cool and nonchalante about things. He sat down near her and looked up at the sky. After a few seconds, he asked, "So, what brings somepony like you out here to go camping?" He took his eyes off the sky and looked over to the pegasus he was seated next to.

''This is my second time. My first time was when I was a young colt and my parents only let me camp in the backyard.'' Splinter said before letting out a chuckle. ''I spent the entire night outside running around my tent for the sake of fun.'' Splinter said while smiling. ''Those were some fun times.'' Splinter said. He then was alarmed by the newcomer. ''What do we have here? More campers? Oh my.. Looks like he's trying to get a date, too!'' Splinter said while noticing Paradox and Electro. ''What could possibly go wrong?'' Splinter said sarcastically.

Dream smiled. "Oh, now I just wanna burst out in Love is in Bloom. And, honestly, a lot of things could go wrong. I thought Gear and Electro liked each other, though. Ooh, maybe they'll get in an epic clash!" Dream told him with a grin. She rummaged through her bag and found her water gun. "Hey, want to shoot them with the water gun? It'll be hil-ar-i-ous."

Dox smirked inwardly. This pony seemed pretty cool and nonchalante about things. He sat down near her and looked up at the sky. After a few seconds, he asked, "So, what brings somepony like you out here to go camping?" He took his eyes off the sky and looked over to the pegasus he was seated next to.

"I just wanted to get out of my house for once... And this camping trip was a good excuse to go out" she answered...

 

"But I think I'm going to pick something other than camping next time... It's so cold out here"

 

She started to shiver from the cold so she moved closer to the fire

''Let's go for it!'' Splinter said while his smile grew wider. He began to think about the chaos that could be caused by water guns. And in his mind, It sounded like true comedy. ''This is gonna be so exciting!'' Splinter thought as he looked over to Dream. ''I'm ready when you are!'' Splinter said while he looked over again. ''Wait, things have changed. He's with somepony else.'' Splinter said while double checking. ''Oh well, let's just go for it.''

Electro Dash went off into the forest to find firewood and she was going pretty deep too. (ooc; im not even going to)). She was finding a lack of wood, so just started bucking trees and taking to best sticks. At some point she found anoter cave with a glow in it, and went to explore. When she went in she found a dragon sleeping on a pile of gems. She remembered the place andw ent back with a hoofful of sticks.

Dream laughed. "Alright, take your pick on who to shoot. I could care less on who you shoot, but make sure it's not a silly party pooper. Party poopers are meanie pants. Well, sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't, like Twilight Sparkle was a party pooper and a nerd, now she's just a nerd."

Paradox saw that she was shivering from the cold, and levitated his pack over to them. After it got there, he rummaged through it until he found his green blanket. He walked around behind Shade and draped it over her shoulders. "There, that should be better." He sat back down and smiled at her.

For the second time that night, Thunder smiled. He really liked this mare.

 

"Alright, well now that I'm not towering over you anymore, do I still seem scary? Are you okay now? I really hate that I was making you uncomfortable."

 

He looked over at the new arrival and nodded in acknowledgement.

''I hear ya there. Some of the fillies at my old school said she was such a teachers pet. Ah well. Let's do this.'' Splinter said while grabbing the water gun and aiming for Dox. ''I have no idea who he is.. But this is gonna be good. Real good.'' Splinter said while pulling the trigger on the water gun. It was a perfect shot into Dex's ear. Splinter began to giggle rapidly. ''Totally worth it!'' Splinter whispered to himself.

"Nah. I'm fine." Firebolt said smiling. The temperature was dropping rapidly, so she covered herself with part of her blanket. "So, uhm, what brings you here, Thunder?" she asked calmly. Seeing a zebra among other ponies was very rare. She didn't even know where they came from.

"Here as in this camping trip, or here as in this side of the Everfree Forest? To answer the latter, I grew up in Manehattan, I've never even seen my homeland. I might have been born there, but I really have no idea. I don't remember anything before I was found on the streets as a kid. As for this trip, I'm here because I was hoping I could find someone who would accept me, someone who I could trust and talk to. I spend a lot of time in the forest, so I'm in my element with these kind of situations, and I figured that would make it easier for me to talk to people."

Firebolt nodded. She still didn't really understand his motives, but didn't want to question him either. "I don't spend much time in the forest...' she said quietly, before looking at him directly "Are you cold? It seems to be getting quite cold...'

Thunder was about to say he was fine, but the he realized something. He did really like her, and maybe this would give him a chance to get closer to her.

 

"I...uh, yeah I guess it is pretty cold out here, isn't it? Do you mind sharing your blanket with me?"

 

Suddenly Thunder was very nervous. Maybe he shouldn't have said that, maybe he was coming on too strong. He had no idea how to handle these situations.

Firebolt replied with "Of course!" She stood up and removed the blanket from under her, then layed down close to him and put it on the both of them. She didn't look directly at the stallion, but instead at the night sky, which was gorgeous, and not shrouded with trees due to the open area.

Thunder noticed she was looking up at the night sky.

 

"The stars are beautiful, aren't they? You can't see them like this in Manehattan. There's always to much light in the city and you're lucky if you can even see the stars at all. That's a big part of why I like coming out here. Everything is so beautiful here."

Firebolt nodded back to him. "I know." She replied "I traveled there when I was younger. I didn't stay there for very long, but yea." She didn't finish her story, not wanting to. "Why would you come so far from Manehatten, though? I'm sure there's a forest closer than this one."

Electro Dash put some of the wood into the fire to stoke it and keep it warm. she looked up and noticed firebolt and thunder lying together "aww! they're cute together!" she placed the rest of the sticks next to the fire and went off to sit on the side of the cliff.
