JT smiles, "thank you, brother. if you weren't already in the army, you would have made a great resistance leader. I want you on my war council when we begin peace talks with PACE, after this, there is no way in hell that PACE will keep up this war. this will be suicide for them."

 

at the citadel. a ship landed. out walked a man in a suit. every soldier saluted him the minute he was sighted. he walked into the main room and talked to the board.

 

"Colonel Jackson. congratulations on your new promotion, you are now General Jackson."  

 

Jackson smiled and said, "thank you, board members, I will not let you down." he begins to pace. "we believe that the resistance will try to attack us here. we have 17 shock trooper units already dropped off."

Hank nods "well i could find loop holes and all that when we discuss, i am a genius, i know pretty much anything." he smiles "thank you for that. JT, i guess i will be infiltrating the next one. I could disable what ever they had there, and the sonic screwdriver will help out on the troops with armors, i think.."

"I hope so, those troops are almost certain to be there. they withstood an explosion fromm an IED, but if we can get the gauss cannon, we can eliminate all of them. we learned that the gauss cannon has a friendly fire feature, so if you target one side. it somehow makes sure to miss your teammates." JT said, then he thought for a second and said, "we jut have to make sure they don't use it on us.

Jt puts a hand o his shoulder, "we don't plan on having you captured again, and we will make sure it is easy to get to the Gauss cannon" JT turns around and says to the war room, "everyone in here, go get some rest. we will all need it for tomorrow."

 

General Jackson looks out his window and smiles. "those resistance punks will be walking right into a trap! this is going to be perfect!"

Jt and rocket nod there head and say goodnight to hank. they head to their room and work on their weapons in the light of a fire.

 

General Jackson watches the news. it explains how the milita of the resistance brutally murdered 127 civilians in cold blood. he laughs, "im glad we have earth on our side through this"

Hank paces around the room as he looks outside and at the stars "i just wish this will end soon.. I don't want anymore ponies dealing in this war.. i am glad though some humans are here helping.. they are really nice.. like what stories have said."

Rocket looked at the window, "this war..... its taken a lot out of me...... its taken my best friend from me...."

JT walks over and counsels his best friend. "rock.... im sorry about sam..... lets go in tomorrow and win this battle for her." he looks around and finds the thing he wanted to give rocket, "I found this..... I think it was sams." 

Rocket smiles, "it was her favorite necklace....... thank you JT," he wraps the necklace around the trigger housing of his gun.

Blackshard had strict reasons for joining the Resistance instead of leaving for the Equestrian Army. No doubt, she was loyal to Equestria and the Princess' for that matter, but she felt that joining up with a formal military would get her nowhere. Here and now, she got the feeling she had made the right choice. She missed her sister, but she would not complain. Whiteshard had proved she could take care of herself without the help of her Other Half.....

Then came the matter of the humans. The whole reasons for this Celestia-forsaken war. Blackshard could care less if their home was running out of space.

Whiteshard always had the opposite state of mind when it came to her Other Half. They were two pieces of the same soul. Once upon a time, they'd been One. Just Shard. When divided, Black and White, they bickered often, yet at heart they loved each other. Whiteshard was fiercly dependant on the Equestrian Army. She could not, refused to, stand on her own. She had always been deemed the weaker of the two sisters.

Of course, when they humans invaded...they'd crossed a line. They may disagree, and ofen at that, but there was one thing Whiteshard could affirm with her sister.

They would not let the humans win....

Cezary walked up to JT and said "How long do you think you guys are going to take before you roll out? The infiltration team is going to be en-route in a few hours and I'm getting some information on troop movements around the citadel. It's not looking good right now."

 

Meanwhile End Game was doing his best to manufacture some human artillery using details from Hank's stolen blueprints.

"Alright, this goes here, the powder goes here... aaaaaand done! I wish I could see the look on General Nuisance's face when his own artillery starts raining from the sky!"

Blackshard perks her ears at the aforementioned "distraction squad". Interesting...she grinned, making her way slowly over to where the two were discussing the plans with another human. She could almost feel the tension in the air. Something was about to go down.

Consciously toning down her malicious excitement, she turned towards Rocket and JT.

"I believe I could be of some help with this...distraction squad...."

JT walked over to his truck he ha modified and put a machine gun turret on the back. He checked the engine and the as and the oil in it. Rocket continued to clean his weapons.

 

A soldier ran up to general Jackson an reported, "all units are protecting the cannons sir!"

Jackson smiled and turned to him, "good, now I want a code 5 lockdown to be put into effect, anyone who is still out will be suspected of being part of the resistance and tortured, understood?"

The soldier saluted and issued the lockdown. Jackson smiled. "The ball is in your court now, what will you do with it?"

Azure and Scarletrose got some rest and were ready to head out

they ran up to meet the other member of the distraction squad

they saw a black Pegasus pony they never seen before with rocket and JT 

"JT we're ready to go when you are" they saluted JT and rocket

Hank and twilight walk up to JT "lets get ready to go. I trust you al that you wont bomb me when i try to have thr cannons on our side." He smiles jokingly "JT. Twilight and i will ride on your jeep ok? I think it will be easier for us to get there and it will save us our energy."

End Game walked over to the command tent and said to JT

"Artillery is ready to fire on your command... just give us targets and we'll blow them to Tartarus and back! I only hope these blueprints were designed the way I think they are... or some bad things could happen around here."

Cezary looked up from his laptop and said

"Guys, we have to move now, they are going into some sort of lockdown, I think I can override the server one, but Hank is going to have a LOT of trouble breaking in in a few moments."

Jt looked at the lockdown and noticed something, there was a small building marked Storage. He smiled, stood on the back of the truck and said "this is going to be our day, we will take out PACE's stronghold and reclaim a great deal of land. Here is my idea, there is a small building, I bielieve it's an armory. We steal uniforms and put the pony members in shackles. Why will this work? Because the prison camp is right next to a gauss cannon!"

Hank gave a nod as he listens "put twilight and i in shackles. They will be surprised to see me captured." He smiles "they might give whoever is wearing the armor a raise." He smiles "and if that happens you could be promoted where you could wipe them out in the insife." He smiles.

"Let me get into the system, I'll be trying my best to throw off coordinates for naval strikes and their airforce so that once the assault begins we won't have their two biggest advantages to worry about, and that will mean that we will have an even greater chance of victory... I just hope my sister's old PACE AWACS password still works..." said Cezary with a look of optimistic dread in his eyes.

"Give me a minute... I didn't think of adding those, but it should only take a second. The chances of you guys getting caught is hopefully low, but it never hurts to be more careful... Everyone should be in the database now. JT, I've upped your capture status from 'Priority, dead or alive' to 'Alive by any means necessary'... that should give you that much more of an edge when it comes to distracting the PACE forces..."

Cezary walked to his laptop and pulled up a manifest of the PACE navy and air units

"Alright, I should be able to alert you of any scrambles or called strikes, but you should try your best to avoid watchtowers and open fields... make them not want to just blow you up."

With that he turned on his radio and spoke into it.

"Attention all PACE air forces, I am your new AWACS, callsign Oracle. Please acknowledge, over."
