Mr. Wobbels 664 January 30, 2012 Share January 30, 2012 Probably the time when I accidentally kicked my cat when I was walking through my room in the dark. Arylett Charnoa 4,919 January 30, 2012 Share January 30, 2012 My life is full of fear since I have anxiety, so I can't exactly pinpoint the scariest moment... but... this dream I had was pretty scary. I had the dream that I couldn't control myself and was a killer, and everyone thought I was dangerous. Not even my own mother would trust me. It was horrifying. Also, I tend to have panic attacks whenever something happens to my computer. Because of how many important people it connects me to. Aether Velvet is the name of the OC in my avatar. Drawn by me. Envy 6,182 January 30, 2012 Share January 30, 2012 (edited) Realizing that, even though I am young (while not being out of college with a career and not even having a lifelong partner), I am not immortal nor am I free from the potential of developing disabilities. So it hasn't been a particular moment. However, I can attribute the beginning a "moment". And nothing has been scarier. Edited January 30, 2012 by Envy Everything needs more woodwind! Finesthour 7,287 January 30, 2012 Share January 30, 2012 Oh dear god I'm so sorry to hear that...that's just...no really I dunno what to say, I wanna hug you or something. ------- When i was around 8 or so, there was a helicopter ride at an event for special kids. Being a kid, helicopters are awesome. I was waiting in the queue for it, until this guy talks to me from behind in the queue. He was a guy in a brown coat, and he said: "Having a good day?" I said that I was and that this was gonna be awesome. I didn't turn around for some reason, like, I dunno why, I didn't wanna look at this guy. But then he tells me: "Be careful, it's not your time yet." Then I dunno where he went. Just as I was about to get on this helicopter however, apparently there was a mix-up in the queue rota and the kid after me went instead. The helicopter crashed on that flight, with the kid inside. He died. The papers even slipped up and mentioned my name as the victim. I dunno what happened, but I swear to Luna that this is the truth. My parents were there too and they know it all too...but they don't remember that guy I talked to for some reason. I'm not very religious but that kinda stuff really does a bender on your head. Now I'm afraid of helicopters, going near them that is. There was also the time my house was illegally raided by corrupt police officers, three times in one year. And the entire problem we had with this one police force because they had a HUGE vendetta against my dad and they took it out on us. The worst part, or maybe the best part, is that I literally can't remember anything that happened in the year of 1998. My memory just entirely blocked it out. So...yeah, now I also can't trust the police ever again. I don't HATE the police, I've tried not to, I just can't trust them ever again. All I can think is WAT. WAT. WAT.
Ninja Derpy 343 January 30, 2012 Share January 30, 2012 (edited) Once I broke my neck a bit falling down 2 flights of stairs! I was rushed to the hospital and my heart was slowing down! My parents said I died for about 2 minutes! But some crazy miracle saved me! It sounds weird but I know that is what happened! Unless my parents are lying to me..... But they would never lie to me! FinalGamer 192 January 30, 2012 Share January 30, 2012 (edited) Once I broke my neck a bit and I thought I was going to be paralyzed for life! How the hay do you break your neck a BIT?! Holy hell, what happened?! All I can think is WAT. WAT. WAT. To what part? I could elaborate a li'l if you like but yeah the helicopter thing shook me bad enough that I never wanna go near one again (not scared of them fully, I just never wanna approach one now). And the whole police thing, yeah it was...quite bad, they basically harassed and terrorised my family for a whole year because my dad managed to make a detective look like a complete tool for leading an investigation into a total dead end (he was a suspect because he sold a car to some guy, the detective did a Phoenix Wright Game Over to his reputation, blames my dad, etc.) Sabotaged our vehicles, assaulted family friends for information...pretty much turned me to the point of being nervous as HELL around cops. Which, guess what, isn't a great thing to do so I gotta REALLY contain myself >< Edited January 30, 2012 by FinalGamer
cuteycindyhoney 13,308 January 30, 2012 Share January 30, 2012 (edited) I have two scariest moments. The first, I was about ten and was riding my bike. It was my first two wheeler and I was just zooming along just getting to the point where i could ride without being wobbly. I was going along and ran out of sidewalk. I shot across the heaviest traveled road in my town. An airhorn blasted and nearly deafened me! I swear this is the truth. I crossed so close in front of an oncoming eighteen wheeler that if I stuck out my hand I would have wiped dirt off of it's front grill as I passed. The speed limit on this rode is FORTY miles an hour. I had to walk it home, because I was shaking so hard I couldn't possibly ride. It was weeks before I could bring myself to ride it again. The other, I left for work one morning. My car hydroplaned when i tried to pull off of my street onto the main road (Same one as above). My car just sat there with the wheels spinning. A full size pickup truck was speeding, and slammed right into the driver's side door. The inpact was so great that my car spun in three complete circles and ended up on the other side of the road, facing the wrong way. I went into shock, and for about a half hour I couldn't move my arms and legs. I got rushed to the hospital by amblaunce, but by the time i got there I was recovering and could move again. A police officer came into my room and gave me a ticket (I still say it was the pickup driver's fault!) The cop told me that it was quite literally the worst car accident he had ever seen, where the driver of the car lived through it. They kept me in the hospital under observation for two days! Oh, I fell down a whole flight of stairs about a year ago. That was scary, but not nearly as bad as the other two! I quite literally almost was killed, TWICE! It feels like that I'm getting a sharp knife through my heart when Flutterdash cries... But I've been close to drowning several times, I drank diesel when I was 2 once and threw up and it can ruin your lungs, I've almost got a snowmobile in the head, nearly being hit by a bus and a truck, become almost hit by a train, fell off a cliff, I got a steering wheel in my head that went into the head, etc. ... I will never forget any of them.

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." ~George SantayanaBy remembering the past you can reflect on where things went wrong, then improve. Also another scary thing that happened to me, being chased around my friend's kitchen when he had a knife. But it turned out okay, the next morning we baked ourselves some pancakes. ~nom Edited January 30, 2012 by Tom I'd like to thank the MLP Vector Club for the images used in my avatar.
