Actually I went by the presumption that because he is the emporer he would have to know alot about the important buildings, so i presumed that he would know the temple was safe alreadty.

He probably would, except that the temple only just became a safe place when she prayed to the goddess and cast a spell on it. There's no way the emperor could have known about that unless he has spies everywhere or something. Which he doesn't, because that would complicate things too much.

This, exactly. Glory went to inform the emperor cuz of what Alex just said. The temple might have been a sanctuary before, but cuz of the spell and the prayer it's now a watertight place of safety.

One thing i wonder about how a pony aka a mortal being can withstand 1000 million giga watts (which is much more than whole earths power) and not even have a scratch... I know i didnt say how much it was but thats the minimum of visible electricity.

I understand that this has already been settled...but I feel like I should jump in and say one thing...both of those things are OP...not just Darklord bathing in lava. 1000 million giga wats ? That's also...very very OP. And i'm done...just thought I would point that out.

Yes, they both really are. And while I'm at it, Icicle has proven to be pretty OP as well. 

 

On a mostly unrelated note, I've been thinking, and it occurs to me that I haven't been nearly as active lately as I should be, and I believe the Rp has suffered for it. As such, I don't think I can really claim to truly be a DM anymore, and I'm stepping down in that regard. If nobody else wants to take over, then I will continue to do what is necessary to keep this Rp going, and I intend to continue as a player either way, but that's it. I was forced into the position of DM to begin with because it seemed at the time that it was best for the sake of the Rp, and now I believe this is no longer the case, so I feel that this is the best course of action.

Not when mine is unstable and can damage me... Its not like the blade have it anyways... It just happend because icicle used water near the barrier making the paralyzing electricity flow into raw energy converting back and forth.

so your excuse is "I can be hurt by it so i'm TOTALLY not op."? Because its still op. And the fact that number of wottage is used shows it is controlled on a massive scale. Just tone it down. 1000 amps?
