Pony Of The Month 535 March 2, 2013 Share March 2, 2013 (edited) I wasn't exactly sure where to put this thread. So, tonight I'm planning to watch:The last 3 episodes of the sixth (and final) season of The Powerpuff Girls (I've been watching the entire series). The Powerpuff Girls Rule!!! (the 2008 reunion/series finale special) The Powerpuff Girls Who, What, When, Where, Why, How... Who Cares (A 35 minute documentary about The Powerpuff Girls) And I'm going to rewatch the entire 3rd season of My Little Pony I'm planning to watch all of that in one sitting. I have been planning on watching season 3 in one sitting ever since it started. I don't have any desire to watch the other 2 seasons in one sitting, because they're too long. So, my question, is how much have you ever watched in one sitting? And what did you watch? Edited March 2, 2013 by Flutterbass And The Pony Of The Month Is: Princess Celestia! 000 206 March 2, 2013 Share March 2, 2013 The longest time I sat staring at a TV is when my dad said. "Hey, you guys need to watch the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy with me, I got the DIRECTORS CUT." and..yeah, longest time ever. In fact I think I fell aleep in parts of the second one. Moog the Kvlt 1,460 March 2, 2013 Share March 2, 2013 I remember watching FLCL all at once But the whole series is only 6 episodes long I usually just watch one episode of a series Then I'll go do something else, and then I'll watch another episode I probably had only managed watching all of FLCL at once Because it was at midnight and there was nothing else to do Though there are some series which I've watched 3 episodes at once to But that only happens when it's late at night
uuunph 288 March 2, 2013 Share March 2, 2013 Oh god, I'd die partway through watching all of that. I remember when I was a lot younger, I had the capacity to watch lots of TV and play the same game for a very long time. I won't say that I get bored, but rather, I just get really uncomfortable doing that stuff for too long. A year ago when I started watching MLP, I got through S1 at about 4 episodes a day, I think. That's a pretty reasonable length. Definitely far from my longest, which I can't really remember at all.
An Old Head 4,816 March 2, 2013 Share March 2, 2013 Before going to watch the sixth Harry Potter movie, I watched the first five front to back. 11 hours (Chamber of Secrets DVD broke about 2/3 in, so would've been longer), and I enjoyed every moment of it. Gone Airborne 22,008 March 2, 2013 Share March 2, 2013 I remember watching FLCL all at once FLCL one of my all time favorite animes and the fact that is so short is amazing too. I remember watching like 25 episodes of Soul Eater in one day which is a lot for me. I saw the whole season one of MLP: FIM too in one day. Cowl 128 March 2, 2013 Share March 2, 2013 (edited) I'm a monster when it comes to watching marathon runs of TV shows, movies, novels, games, you name it I've probably spent 18hrs or more strait doing it at one point or another. Last Saturday I watched all of walking dead. I watched 4 seasons of breaking bad in one day (last year). I watched 5 seasons of dexter in 1.5 days (no sleep). All of buffy took about 2 days (slept for 5 hours). I typically read about 3 novels of 700~1000 pages a week when I don't watch TV or movies (when i'm on break, so no homework). Pro Tip: Depending on the show you can normally watch it at 1.2 to 1.7 x the normal speed and still understand everything being said. When I decided to watch all of Pokemon I was able to crank the speed to 3.2x and still understand what people where saying. God, Pokemon is an awful TV show (I gave up after the third season). Edited March 2, 2013 by Cowl And to all things comes an end. We are no more than pages in a book. Turn the page, and thousands die. And for what? For the greed of two powerful leaders. Turn the page and floods, earthquakes and volcanoes are destroying the world. It is a time for acts of despair and of bravery as well. Another turn of the page and countless refugees flee. Is this the end of the story? No. There are countless pages to turn. And to all things comes a beginning!
FoxyCryptid 4,330 March 2, 2013 Share March 2, 2013 I'd have to say about 3 DVDs of the Cowboy Bebop box set when I was watching it while tearing scrap appliances down to be sold. 1 "You know, I don't know who or what you are Methos, and I know you don't want to hear this, but you did teach me something. Dashabel 381 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 I think my max is about 5 or 6 episodes of MLP, but usually before I can get past 3 my dad tells me to take a break. -.- Oh, but when I'm at my cousin's house, we can pretty much sit through a whole season! Veronica The Miffvixen 232 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 I once watched 51 episodes of Sonic X in one sitting. It hurt me very badly. There's some shows you just shouldn't marathon at all. That's one of them. Young, Incredible, Free, and Fly. That's how Veronica rolls. On 4/1/2013 at 7:43 PM, Feld0 said: It's a wolf. Wolfy Sparkle! MMFAN 198 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 When I first decided to give MLP a chance and see if there was something to this cartoon, (this comes from my love of Avatar the last Airbender and the following it generated). Long story short I ended up watching the whole first season in a single sitting. I'm currently tapping my foot in anticipation for the 4th season.
Soviet Spy 31 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 OHOHOHOHOH. One day I sat in my living room, turned on the blu-ray, and watched almost two full seasons of Doctor Who. That is a great show, you should watch it if you haven't already. Also when I first found Soul Eater I watched the entire series within a couple of days. BTW, if you didn't know, the manga is a lot more innapropriate than the show. :Having technical difficulties: Credit goes to Gone ϟ Airbourne! Starflower 323 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 I watched three full seasons of Full House. Seasons 1-3. In one night. No skipping episodes. And still managed to get enough sleep. How did I do that? I don't know. I'm willing to do the same with seasons 4-6 next time.

Jokuc 8,176 March 5, 2013 Share March 5, 2013 Well it was when me and two other friends watched a bunch of different horror movies which I chosed. We sat for around 50 hours watching different movies. Though my friends fell asleep after the first night. I remember me still being awake when they fell asleep, I drew stuff on their faces with a pen and then I watched Psycho, hah.
Dashmagic 19 March 5, 2013 Share March 5, 2013 Not sure about other shows but MLP I've watched a solid 10 episodes in one sitting. 220 minutes, about 4 hours. Bit less. This was back when I hadn't seen them all yet though, a few weeks ago when I was still new. My parents were out (I hadn't told anyone) and my brother was asleep so I watched the last 10 episodes of season 2 I think it was. Awesome. MelancholicMemory 2,027 March 5, 2013 Share March 5, 2013 I got so sick once that I couldn't even get up. There was a PPG marathon on at the time, so I watched every episode in once sitting once. I've also watched the first half of Death Note in one sitting, as well as the entire first season of MLP.
Schism 26 March 5, 2013 Share March 5, 2013 I'm not really sure, whenever I start on a series I usually try to finish it as quick as possible. I think it was when I watched two and half seasons of Doctor Who in one sitting. Other than that, I've been on anime marathons where I would finish four entire series in one go. Which reminds me, I still need to binge on Twin Peaks.

fluffpudge 148 March 5, 2013 Share March 5, 2013 Man..when I'm older, I'll probably just sit down for a weekend and pull an all-nighter, just watching MLP episodes..I think the most I've watched in a single sitting is the entire first season (at least up until the current episode at the time) because I was absolutely hooked by the first episode. Then again, I feel like I might have gone through and watched the full second season at some point last year? I'm not quite sure anymore! I'm not really one to just sit there and watch tv though- I get so distracted easily, I just feel like I have be to be doing something else at the same time as it!
