"So you have a lot of friends around here living in the Everfree Forest with you eh?" she knew this pony wasn't no ordinary pony and it would be nice to get to know more about him but she knew it wasn't the time when they're trying to find out what was behind this damned mountain and why those tribal ponies wanted to go up this pathway.

Featherstone followed everypony else, like he had wanted to before, but he kept silent. He didn't know what to say, and he didn't want to interrupt the on going conversation, even if it did sound a little like Azura was taking a liking to the new pony. He trotted up so he was beside her, but not between her and the new pony.

[Octavia's Bow 2,035]

"That's one way to put it," Scout replied. "My parents loved this place, the safe bits. I'll never know why they disappeared though," he added under his breath. "This is not my area of the forest, either." He was visibly uncomfortable; his wings would flutter at small noises, and he was looking around for something, until a spider swung down for a tree.

 

His eyes widened and he got an excited grin on his face, "Del! You're okay!" He bounced over to the spider, and held out a hoof, which it promptly crawled onto him, crawling up and nesting in his hair. He seemed much more relaxed after that.

​Frozen now finished her usual flying warm up for the morning, Frozen swooped down and saw a poster. "Who has lost there pet now?" Frozen grabbed the poster, she reads it in her head until at last she dropped the poster.

"Well I better check this out!"

 

Frozen flew in to Evertree until she saw a group of ponies they were talking to each-other. "Well I guess they won't notice me.." Frozen joined the group. She looked around the forest. "Could be cool!"

They have no real reasons to come back to the Everfree, and I don't really get to leave here anymore." He explained. "But the amount of creatures that live here would surprise you."

Bluenote followed behind the group that formed after the tribal ponies disappeared. She wasn't exactly in the mood for talking in the conversation, she was too shaken up about the close call. 'Maybe I should have went back to Ponyville with those other ponies...', she thought to herself, walking behind the group.

Pinoak trots away from his wagon. "Well, that was a useful trip." The yellow unicorn sighs as he walks towards the market.

 

'Let's see if I can find Boomy. Then we can head back and check out that trail leading from the egg.'

 

"Boomy!" The unicorn calls out. "Where are you dude?" As he continues to call for Boomy, he notices that the stares from the townsfolk are starting to get more intense.

 

'What's with everypony today?'

Judith keeps her weapon at her side as she trots with the rest of the group. She listened to the conversation between Azura and Hypno and was very interested that Hypno actually lived in the everfree forest. He had also mentioned another pony that lived in the forest, and that also brought up various questions in her mind about Hypno.

Boomy's next stop was at the shopping district, there he get some basic supplies. The most obvious was food for the party, Just some apples will do, i don't want to expend too much right now He thought. After that he went to the Florist, there he pick up several herbs, plants and flowers, what for is not clear yet. Later he went to other stores around town were he get some empty bags, empty flasks made out of glass, the side of perfume bottles. There was only 2 other shops he wanted to visit before leaving, unfortunely Boomy was already carring more that he could hold on his back it didn't help that some on the things he carried were fragile too.

 

His salvation was at hoof when he saw a yellow pony calling his name

 

 

Pinoak trots away from his wagon. "Well, that was a useful trip." The yellow unicorn sighs as he walks towards the market.

 

'Let's see if I can find Boomy. Then we can head back and check out that trail leading from the egg.'

 

"Boomy!" The unicorn calls out. "Where are you dude?" As he continues to call for Boomy, he notices that the stares from the townsfolk are starting to get more intense.

 

'What's with everypony today?'

 

He noticed that a few ponies were watching Pinoak from afar, but when they saw him they start to walk away for some reason. Boomy ignores this and gets closer to his comrade "Thank Celestia i found you Pino my friend, i need you to take all of this to your cart, i still need to make 2 more stops and then we can leave, also, go find Steel, tell him to get a few weapons, swords, daggers, bows and arrows and a few clubs if posible, i don't want his entire store, just 1 or 2 of every tipe of weapon will do for all of us, okay thanks"

 

Not only he ignores Pinoaks agitaded look, but he also leave him with all of his cargo to carry for himself to the cart. He quickly leave the scene, so quickly that in fact Pinoak couldn't say a word to him.

 

Boomy head off to his final destionation on town: The Magic Antiques Store and the Filthy Rich's Laboratories.

"The forest already seems like it's crawling with life," Honey said, "How many more creatures could be living here?"

 

She began to regret asking that question the second the last words left her lips. The second she was done talking, she realized that this was one of those questions that you should only ask if you were really ready to hear the answer to, and she didn't really want to know how many creatures could be hiding in the shadows. She won't deny that it would be helpful to know about this stuff, but she was a botanist, not a zoologist. Creatures, whether they are large and monstrous or cute and cuddly, weren't  her specialty or anywhere near her comfort zone. She was once attacked by a litter of puppies. They only licked her, but the experience did leave her wary of anything that didn't photosynthesize.

"Woah.." Azura was speechless as a massive temple sat right in front of her, waiting to be explored by a brave pony.

Scout shimmied over to the green pegusus with the watch cutie mark. "Darkling, what do you call yourself?" he asked, looking at the ground. He smells of the forest, which makes me want to trust him, but he also smells of the darkness that floods the corner at night, and a small hint of blood and death. That makes it very hard.

Featherstone stopped when he saw the temple. He wasn't sure if he wanted to go on, or if he wanted to sit down and stay. He thought that he would do anything that Azura would do, even if she decided to go into the temple. He didn't want to be left alone outside of it; he wanted to be right next to Azura the whole time.

"Woah look at that temple!" Frozen looked up at the massive temple, her eyes turned around and looked at the other ponies.

"Well, who wants to explore its just a temple right?" Frozen stepped forward looking eager, Frozen flew to the entrance. "Come on!! It's not that hard!!" Frozen smiled at the other ponies.

"Who is ready for an adventure??" 

 

Arrow sees the temple. "Think this is a source to our problems?" He asked; looking around the group. "If this is it, then you can expect Temple Run in real life." (or RP) He added jokingly as he looked back at the temple. "And you can't restart from beginning... You just die."

"What fears?" Arrow said conjuring some more arrows. "The only thing I fear is aliens... You know the Aliens: Pony Marines?" He takes his bow and loads and arrow onto the string. "Besides, this reminds me of that one pony in the book my mom used to read me... The... Uhhh..." Arrow tries to remember. "I forgot the books' name." He faced hoof.

The temple stood in all it's glory, casting shadows over the group, at least as many shadows as could be possible in the Everfree. Honey Seed was awed by the dignity that not even time seemed to erase from the large stone structure. Huge doors begged her to peak inside. There was no telling how old this thing was, or if it was booby trapped like all the temples in the Daring Do books, but the details carved into the stone seemed to continue on behind the doors. Honey wondered what it all meant. Just as long as it's not full of snakes and spiders, she was ready to take on anything. 

 

"Wow, this place reminds me of the Daring Do books. I wonder how old this thing is?" She put a hoof to the stone. It wasn't crumbling, but the moss that's managed to fill in all the cracks between stones is the millenia green, a moss that grows so slowly it takes a century for it to spread the length of a hoof print, and this thing was covered in it.

"As I've said before, I hate that I'm coming off as the scaredy pony here, but rushing into things like this is a good way to get hurt, especially in something as old as this. You see this moss, it would probably take two hundred years for it to grow the length of one of these stones, and this place is covered in it. For all we know the floor could collapse under our hooves, and what good will that do us? We should at least make sure that nothing is going to come down on our heads as we search."

 

Honey Seed picked up a large rock that sat not far from the door and threw it onto the the floor of the temple. The floor didn't so much as chip as the rock bounced along. There's no way that this place could be younger than 2000 years, and yet it's in as good a condition as a new temple. Not even if it was being maintained somehow could it be in this good of condition and still be covered in millenia green.

 

"Well, maybe it's not that bad." Honey took a tentative step into the temple.

 

She kept looking around for any sign of this place showing it's age beyond the moss, but everything she saw was a contradiction. This was the largest patch of millenia green she's ever heard of, and there was no way that this moss could be anything but millenia green. Millenia green is different from most other mosses because it sprouts small green flowers that have soft, yet thorn-like, petals, and this place was covered in those flowers. There was no way there could be this much millenia green without it growing here, but everything looked so together that it looked like new. Maybe it's just one of the many mysteries of the Everfree Forest.

"Ha ha ha!" Frozen laughed, Frozen opened the door. 

"It's dark, and mysterious. Just like Hypno!" Frozen laughed and saw that no one was laughing, she stopped and went back to the crowd of ponies. "Are you guys coming or not? Its not like anything is going to happen, right. And if anyone is scared I will help!" Frozen fluffed her wing and reached into a fighting position. "Ready yet?"

"Sure." Arrow replied as he walks in the place with bow drawn back just for safety precautions if anything tries to jump out at the group. "oooOOOOoooo!!" He starts to mock the place. "SoooOOO scary!" Now he starts to over exaggerate. "This place could use a spring cleaning! Just, let me get my broom and I could sweep the place spot-less and looking brand new!" He aims his bow at a hanging moss and shoots it, making it fall. "There! that's a start..." He trails off. 

 

This is the moment he gets hyper and talks a bit too much.

She heard a few rabble of the rocks, Frozen turned and saw it was still safe, she nodded at Honey Seed, and went out and waved her hooves to the others. "Guys its safe, and it looks well cool!" Frozen went back in and looked around a bit more. She soon spotted a old set of stairs. "Huh I swear this was not hear before..." Recklessly she started to walk down. She heard more rubble falling. "Umm please don't get me trapped in here." Frozen quickly grabbed a big rock so the rocks fell on the big rock rather than her way out. "Hey guys check this out!"

Scout entered the temple tentatively. "It is not wise to explore such areas of the Everfree. Sometimes, remnants of old magics and ceremonies creep through the hallways, and I'm not entirely sure you ponies know combat-effective techniques. Strength in numbers only goes so far..." His spider moved down on his face and purposefully tickled his nose, which caused him to laugh, then sneeze. "Del! be serious! We're... In... *Laughter* A serious... *Sneeze* Place!" He had to go to his knees to avoid rolling instinctually. The spider stopped and looked him in the eyes. "Yes, I understand where I've been. But I was alone; I don't know these ponies yet. Personally I think the purple one with the plant cutiemark is right to be cautious, and that recklessly bounding through a temple is unwise. With a group there's... Limitations." It was clear he found it easier to talk to the spider than to ponies.

At this moment Arrow did not understand what this mean't for Frozen, she had never really been out the house like this, Frozen was not scared but past experiences were returning. Arrow notices the laugh was off but didn't care, being bullied all your life had advantages and now somepony laughs at you didn't phase him. "Maybe I should lead." He challenged just for the fun of it. "I'm the one with the bow and arrow, so I can protect you and every other pony." He continued with a small grin.

 

 

"Hey! I like leading, and for you when I was in brownies I was the patrol leader so I have more experience! Also I have the light so I think you can trust me." Frozen continued to lead until the group of ponies reached the end of the stair case. 

"I am not being mean by laughing at you, I just like a laugh." Frozen grabbed her dagger out of her saddle bad and cut a lot of moss and hanging vines that were in the way of a door, she turned around to make sure that there were ponies still following her. "Hey guys the is getting fun, we should keep going are you guys okay with that?" She stared at the ponies waiting for an answer.
