OOC Topic

 

 

You each show up in a different spot, some within feet of another pony, some completely and utterly alone. You choose to go with the nearest pony or go on your own, oblivious to the imminent danger. Only one pony knows what could possibly be in this forest... You must find him or her and stick with them, they know how to keep you safe and read the signs of danger.

 

Cloud Puff woke up near a cross of walls. Not noticing the darkly colored pony passed out next to her, she did a quick three-sixty scan around her. Dark, dank woods surrounded her, enveloping the near and far areas in complete and utter darkness. The air felt thick, but that could be humidity or her fear. Just now looking down, she saw a black-coated green-maned stallion passed out beside her. She wondered how he got there. Actually, how did she get here? Cloud couldn't remember. She actually couldn't remember what she'd been doing for... A while. Nothing completely recent. Sitting down, she tried to relax despite the odd vibe this place was giving her. She felt like this place might be dangerous... It looked-- and felt --creepy.

Firecracker suddenly somehow found himself at the entrance of the forest after he woke up. "How did I get here?" he thought. Firecracker then looked around him to be sure that nothing was trailing him. He did see a very lightly green-colored mare behind him. He was scared.

Percussive slowly woke to find himself near a cross of walls... and on the ground as well, as he shook out most of the dirt that had protruded his mane. He looked around, seeing that there was some pony next to him... A purple mare, to be exact... He stared at her, wondering if she was all right... But where even was he? And how did he get here?

 

"Hey... Are you all right?", he said over towards this mare, a bit confused.

Imagine woke with a groan, a teal stallion passed out next to her, her head blistered and she realized, that she was in a dark forest, she couldn't see anything but pitch blackness, she saw the teal stallion wake up, she bet that he was thinking the same thing he was, " How in Equestria did I wind up here? "

Bright Spark rolled off of his back and picked himself up of the floor. He was only able to notice two things. One was that he was lost and the other was that this was not a hangover.

"Well Great. I'm lost. again." He grumbled to his believed self. Since he had no idea where he was he might as well remember this spot, so he looked around for something. He noticed a rusted and abandoned vehicle and a white mare with a blue mane and tail. He cautiously went up to her out of curiosity.

"Hey, uhh, You alright miss?"

She trotted over to the nearest corner, and peeked around the edge. It was dark and creepy, like everything else. Cloud began to worry, mostly because, the more she thought, the more she realized somepony had told her about this place. She couldn't remember what it was called, but she could recall who told her about it. Zecora. She also couldn't recall what mysterious being might live here, but she remembered it was life-threatening. Cloud began to wonder if there was anything watching them, and if there was somepony else who'd randomly ended up here.

So, it's dark... Creepy... Any chance of finding an exit could vary--"

 

He stopped speaking, realizing what he had said. "S-sorry..."

Firecracker walked to the back of the entrance to find it was blocked by an invisible force, He then decided to trot over and respond to the mare after seeing her woke up. "Hey, you okay?" he asked the mare. Firecracker thought the place was getting frighting little by little the longer he stayed here.

Snow slowly began to wake up. For some reason she was on the ground near a large concrete cylinder (i think thats what it is). She quickly took in her sourounding and found another mare with a light brown coat and a colt with a sky-blue coat and green stripped mane. *What they hey is going on?* she thought as she quickly went up to the colt.

Imagine nodded, "I'm fine, I'm Imagine," she says, "What the buck am I doing in this dark forest in the middle of the night (not sure if its midnight, really,)" Imagine thought. Her blistering headache quickly went away, but she still had no idea, how she got here, where she recently was, and how to get out.

There was a small intersection ahead, and just barely visible on the left was a bunch of stumps. They looked scary, so Cloud chose to go right instead. Making sure Percuss was still following, she walked until she was near a large rock. Another intersection. They'd spent a while walking, so she stopped. They could go to a central area, but it had lots of things that creatures could be hiding behind. "Hey, um... Where should we go? I'm just kind of wandering aimlessly."

And I also know that I'm not in a hangover, have no idea where this is, or know of and exit." He held out his hoof to help her up fully. "I'm Bright Spark. May I ask your name?" he said in the most calm he could be.

Deep in the forest, a strange figure slowy began to rise, something having disturbed It.

 

It heard something. Noises. Voices. In the woods. In It's woods! Ponies. Nearby. Lost. Confused. Afraid. Weak. Vulnerable. Prey.

 

The shadowy figure began moving amongst the trees, silent, predatory, deadly.

"Firecracker" he said. "That's my name.". He then looked left; that's one way they could go. He then looked to the right. "Those two paths are my only options on where to go, but which one is more safe?" Firecracker thought. "Do you think we should stick together just so we're less likely to get killed?" he asked Imagine.

"It looks kind of... Dangerous... Who knows what could be in there?! But yeah, I guess... Sure. " She let him lead the way, since she'd pretty much been directing everything so far. She wondered if they were getting close to anypony else... It might get a little boring with just the two of them.

Snowdrop took the offer and helped herself up with his assistance.

"Thanks. My name  is Snowdrop, I would say it's nice to meet you usually, but in this kind of place I would prefer to meet new friends somewhere else." She said, "Does this thing work?" She asked, tapping the rusty van with her hoof cautiously. "It looks pretty beat up."

"It looks kind of... Dangerous... Who knows what could be in there?! But yeah, I guess... Sure. " She let him lead the way, since she'd pretty much been directing everything so far. She wondered if they were getting close to anypony else... It might get a little boring with just the two of them.

 

"I think we'll be fine... We just... gotta stick together, that's all...", Percuss said a bit quietly. Already, he was shaking in his fur as they entered the odd building, looking around inside. He could see a chair inside, but that was mainly it to see. "Something tells me that this is a bathroom... Mainly from the tiles and all--" He did a quick double take of the area, checking back to the chair, which was now fallen over. ((No god mod here, happens all the time.)) He just continued staring at it with a new fear in his eyes. Was... something here?

Imagine nodded, " Yes, it's an idea, but, its better if only one pony dies, " Imagine would feel dreadful if they decided to go alone, and find out that Firecracker died, or even SHE died. " Yeah, I guess I'll go with your idea, " If there is anything Imagine hated more than making a horrible drawing, its death.

"Thanks. My name  is Snowdrop, I would say it's nice to meet you usually, but in this kind of place I would prefer to meet new friends somewhere else." She said, "Does this thing work?" She asked, tapping the rusty van with her hoof cautiously. "It looks pretty beat up."

Bright Spark took one look at the axles and decided to shake his head. "well, for starters there are no wheels. And it can't go without those. And then...." He opened the bonnet of the car. "there's no engine either." he pointed to the clearly missing engine chassis.

"Eh, I don't know a thing about machines. Pretty boring, if you ask me," She paused for a moment, then realized something, "If there's a vehicle, there must be an owner, right? So they might be around here somewhere, even though the car's rusty. I mean, forests have berries, and you could live off those, right? I don't know, but nobody would just leave a vehicle lying around for no reason, right?" She looked around hopefully once she had finished, as if she was expecting the owner to just suddenly appear.

Bright Spark continued to observe the car. "I doubt that. The layers of rust seem to go on too far for it to have been left within the year. My guess is if they are not here, they're long gone. But we could try I suppose." He looked at the path beneath him. "now we just decide left or right."

Quip heard hoofsteps on soft dirt coming towards him, along with the echo's that followed shortly after each step. He had no idea what was going on, but he didn't want to move, get up, or open his eyes at all. He wasn't at home anymore, and it certainly didn't feel like ponyville. There was just a general aura of creepy he was feeling.

"Okay, now we need to decide if we need to go left, or we go right." he explained. Firecracker then started to wonder what made Imagine change her mind so quickly. "I was thinking a bit that we could go right, As long as it's not too deadly..."  he decided, while trotting around in circles.
