This was a wonderful collaboration that Freewave invited me to sing on! (He was such a great musician to work with.

 

He did the music, and I did the vocals, (writing the spoken word parts and the harmonies to Princess Celestia's original melody too).

 

It's very much how I feel about Twilight's growing-up. <3

 

 

(I tried to match Celestia's speaking voice from "Magical Mystery Cure," hope I did okay!  : )

Such an excellent collaboration. It was easy to see that sooner or later, collabs would be popping up everywhere from Pony FM and this is a great example of one.

Skweee!! Thanks so much. We had such a blast doing this collab and I am so glad that Dreamsong and I will be doing at least 2 more tracks together (both are partally made already). I've had a lot of intended collabs where the people just dropped off the other face of the earth for a month when they were supposed to be working on the track. She was SO easy to work with, we kept in daily contact, and we had so much fun during the process.

There's a blurb for pony.fm at the end of it and we're exclusively hosting it here. I have submitted it to EQD so hoping that MAYBE they will feature or put it in music of the day so get some residual traffic and attention to the site.

Well i just love it when people say they like my music. Makes me feel like I'm not an amateur or that I'm not wasting my time . It makes it that much more enjoyable. It's just really been nice getting back into a creative spurt again and I'm gonna credit Dreamsong for making it possible to try to do some new vocal projects that should hopefully be some very cool future tracks. It's been so much fun so far.

This. Is. Amazing.  Dreamsong's singing voice is so very touching it almost makes me teary eyed. I have to pause the track at times to catch my breath.   Especially with those layered vocals. Beautiful. Also, the instrumental movements towards the end are epic to say the least. This is some cinematic stuff. Can't wait to hear your other 2 collabs!
