Ahh, music discussion. Guess I'll sorta jump on in.

 

I listen to pretty much anything, but I mainly listen to chiptunes (not a genre, but just as a general thing.) In fact, if you need a certain something, I'd say I'm the guy to go to. I don't have a Big Book of Everything Chiptune, but I've got at least a fairly sizable knowledge of it.

 

And just because, have a cover of a GB Mega Man song on Master System.

You again? Alright, you're in.

I can pull up the discussion about the Romance languages versus the Germanic languages all over again, but then it's pointless since even those two language families have the same exact common ancestor.
 
You then, however, have a problem with Basque and Korean. No one can find out what those two languages are even related to!!! (They're called language isolates and I feel like I wanna bug Xidnaf about it.)
 
So Gangnam Style, as fun as it sounds, we can't find a relative to Korean.
 
@, two words: Romance Languages. I also have a lovehatehatelove relationship with Latin, for the same reasons that I have a lovehatehatelove relationship with English.

Also, I only know of one song that's in Latin, but they borked up the pronunciation of everything.

The problem with Basque is that no one can find a living or dead language that's related to it, so linguists are pulling their hairs out trying to figure it out.

 

Euskara. I think that's what it's called.

 

Also, Estonian and Finnish are part of their own family that isn't Indo-European. I think Hungarian's also a part of that family.

A language isolate. It's a language spoken in a region between France and Spain. It's got no living relatives, which what makes Basque unique and a little odd.

 

The biggest language isolate is actually Korean.

I can do either so long as the music interests me. I've a little chunk of game OST on me Itunes as well, but not as much as I really want.

 

The other one is even more scarce as I don't actually watch movies or tv/shows enough to really have a lot of them.
