What can I say, I have a taste for Lovecraftian monstrosities....

 

Seriously, I actually haven't thought about how I would do a sanity check… Or even whether or not anyone would be interested in a horror RP game with Lovecraftian terrors… Oh well, I can always dream… :3

Really?! Well, I was actually planning to do that after I wrap up the train RP game :3

 

There would be nothing quite like a mystery on an expedition into the Frozen North where the expedition party discovers Eldritch terrors and has to fight for survival. The mystery would be whatever happened to the previous expedition… In other words, I would turn Lovecraft's Mountains of Madness into a pony RP game… Could be interesting :3

You know something called Call of Cthulhu, right? Any lesser minds cannot simply comprehend the simply fuckery of those... thing. They will simply shut down, or went awry.

 

My bet is every single OC in your RP will simply forgot that they should go insane and instead choose to charge straight instead :V

While reading Lovecraft's stories, I alway keep thinking, "What would I do in such a situation?" I mean, the people usually go crazy simply because they can't understand what they are seeing, and can't accept that they are truly nothing compared to the whole of the universe. But if it were me, if I could fight the fear, I bet I could maintain sanity.

Ya know, the 20's and 30's were kind of boring writing wise. After a while, I need to switch to something else. I started reading the Foundation series, but I'll try to get back to the massive book on my bookshelf.
