Wait, I for now have seen hundreds of times that the theory is that, Celestia's mane was originally pink and unflowing, but it changed after she used the Elements of Harmony with Nightmare Moon, which for the most part, makes sense.

To be fair, Luna's mane changed from Season 1's light, pastel colored, into the Season 2's wavy and more "ethereal" look. This might be related to her "power level"
