Indeed, and roleplaying, image macros, repetitive content for it's own sake, random comments declaring this or that with no intention engaging any sort of rational discussion are spam.

Spam is bad if there is to be any sort of chatting in the first place.

These examples prevent chatting from happening if left unchecked, which they were.

All you would see is pages and pages of mindless content with no relevance to any other subject mentioned.

 

Initiate a discussion or partake in it.

Anything else is spam, some of it harmless, some of it not. All equally damaging in the long run.

Standards are important for any medium for it to have worth.

 

In short;

Intention to have an discussion is content.

No intention to have a discussion is spam.

 

Of course, certain discussions are simply worth not having at all but that is more of an personal issue of taste and I can easily ignore without any raised hells.

Hmmm...no one asked you? Huh...I would believed at least I asked you. Sucks to have my memory I guess. Anyway, thanks for answering that. Regardless, whatever I wanted to say, Bluetrace probably said for me, only with different words. I just have to remember you're quite vocal about most things and with that, I'll leave you, and my mind, in peace (although I do believe you're the sort of type to actually laugh your flank off whenever someone says stupid things in this type of discussions, but I'd rather you didn't do that on me, so I won't cause it ).

 

As for discussion, eh, I call chatting something slightly more light-hearted than a discussion, which is why, I don't say anything. If somebody came in here, and actually tried to interrupt what we just talked, I would politely ask the guy to step off, while you would boot his face so hard not even a cartoon will pull out. Hopefully, same results. But aside for that, let's agree we have different opinions on that, for my sake. Otherwise, I'll just end up witha burned out mind, and you'll be just taking a glass of vodka or whatever the hell you drink while saying "What an idiot" with probably more colorful words.

 

Anyway, that aside, i've been meaning to ask you Libby, if you don't mind, how did you find MLP: FIM?
