Not everyone's a computery type.

Would not have thought about it being a text cursor or anything like that.

 

The only way I could make the fact that it was a text cursor more obvious was to animate it. :/

The best you can hope for is that Shiny ignores you. I have direct contact, so perhaps I can smooth things over when they get back. I had warned Shiny beforehand though.
