With his personality, he was pretty much being ashamed of the fact that he was so enthused just before. He didn't want to play that VN, himself, his sister basically forced him to, which is why he thought it was weird and shameful that he got so excited for beating it, I'm guessing.

Don't judge Kirino for playing her eroge. She's more focused on the cuteness + storyline than the sexual stuff. Also, she only made him play that way he could be "educated" in the field, that way he could help her find some real friends that like the same things as herself (in reality, it's just wincest foreshadowing).

 

 

I've actually seen the series a couple of times, but I gave up on them coming out with another season of it. Of course I don't remember the last time I looked for any news, it was probably almost a year ago.

I've seen it four times... I think. Not that hard since it's short. I watched it first online somewhere in sucky quality, then again on Crackle, then again on Hulu, and then... Probably on Hulu again... maybe. I forget. Either way, seen it many times. Although they were all relatively long ago, now. I should find a blu-ray torrent and re-watch it, now.

I will admit that it's not really a series for everyone, because many would find it to be "boring". However, I still say it's a good watch. It's neat to see how she's all popular in school, so she has to keep her otaku-nature a secret because people would judge her and whatnot. Also, by the way, you'll need to download this if you want the subs to work. Unless you already have the codecs and stuff needed to play the subs.

Also, the point of anime is 98% of the time to promote the manga. You're supposed to go buy all the volumes if you want more, because they have a story that goes more in depth, most of the time.
