school tend to do that to you! you actually wake up at a sane hour (well okay 6:30 isn't exactly sane but whatevs), you get to do actual work, and you get actual time to eat all 3 meals a day! whoa.

anyways, i think i might have a problem with milk-based products. if we have pancakes next thursday, and i get the non-milk based ones, then i'll know for sure,

that might be it, although butter and margarine are also milk based, not sure; it would be unusual for you to be lactose intolerant, but not impossible;

the reason I say that is because here's the distribution of lactose intolerance around the world:

Lactose%2Bintolerance.png

as you can see, Sweden is pretty much in the clear, while Eastern Asia for example isn't looking good at all (I keep hearing that the Japanese are inventing new ways to make ice cream so that it doesn't contain milk)

well, i've known at least 1 or 2 people in every school i've been to that is lactose intolerant, this one having a teacher like that. so...

i might not be full-blown lactose intolerant like i get serious stomach fits over a single glass of milk, but i'm thinking i might have a slight disfavour against it, and that i consume more milk-based products than i thought i did at first (i had FOUR milk-based products just TODAY).

in that case, try one day to stay away from absolutely all milk-based foods, see what happens

i'm gonna inform my dad to buy lactose-free milk and margarine (apparently the margarine here had milk in it, as well. derp). then, i'm gonna see how good my stomach feels like the following week. if i do feel better, i'll have my answer.

here's an idea: try one day to replace all butter and margarine that you put on bread with peanut butter (isn't a diary product)

peanut better? isn't that technically worse to have on your sandwich? not to mention that i've never had peanut butter and dunno how it tastes like.

just mentioning it; I usually don't put any butter or margarine on bread, because I don't see the point to it, I usually just eat sandwiches without butter and without the top slice of bread

well, in the US, a sandwich normally looks like this:

img-1153862-1-Sandwich-v2.jpg

notice that there's a slice of bread on top too; therefore, it became normal that, whenever mentioning the word "sandwich", people usually picture that

I don't use a top slice of bread, just a bottom one; also, there is no layer of butter on it, so if I'm making a cheese sandwich, I have a slice of bread on top of which I put a slice of cheese and that's it; same goes for ham sandwiches; or, I can combine them, I have a slice of bread on top of which I put a slice of cheese on top of which I put a slice of ham, you know?

i see. well i usually never eat my sandwiches like that. instead i make two and eat them one-on-one.

your bottom point is fucking confusing me, though. X_x

huh. that seems pretty tame to me, but i guess it works.

though i can't eat cheese because it's a milk-product.

oooh, you know what you can try? you can try soy milk and soy butter; this is why soy milk has been made, it imitates milk but it's not a dairy product, therefore it's perfectly safe if you want to avoid milk products

My pony wears a shirt like always, never takes it off really, for anything. Why would he do that?

question: is there a way to make the forum not give me messages on my Yahoo inbox everytime I receive a reply to a forum post? it's gotten as though I can't find anything else except MLP forum messages, and I'm in search of a really important message I received a few weeks ago

you should be able to disable notifications for that in your user profile. go to My Settings and then to Notification Options and turn off what you don't want to receive notifs for.
