So I decided to stay up late again and I have to pee. What do?

Go pee and then figure out the grand mystery of how to freaking run Super Smash Bros Melee at full speed on this damn emulator.

I need a better computer. ;_;

I wish I knew how to do that. ;_;

Im reading all these things about them and I'm so lost. D:

Every term is an enigma to me.Be3Er.png

One day, though, I'll figure this crap out and make me a nice gaming rig.

Dude, seriously, it's that easy.

<jargon>

Well, first off, you need a case and powers supply, and the power supply has to supply enough power for everything that you're gonna have to power. I must warn you, this isn't 1980, we don't plug our monitor's power cord into the computer's power supply.

Then you need everything else: The processor, motherboard, RAM, video card, hard drive, solid-state drive, DVD drive, and whatever else you need. You gotta make sure the chipset is compatible with the processor you're going for, and you gotta make sure that you don't switch AMD for Intel. And if you're going for SLI or CrossfireX, you gotta have a motherboard and PSU that can take that kind of abuse.

Then there's the matter of cooling that big ol' sucker down. Tempting as it is to use your computer as a handwarmer in the dead of winter (Goddamn groundhogs seeing their shadows at the wrong time...), it ain't advisable to keep it that way. If the case is black, everything else is gonna blacken. A lot.

<Insert more jargon here></jargon>

Apparently, having handled the motherboard for the bajillion-year-old computer we've had for ages, I've underestimated the size of how typical motherboards are; The Asus Sabertooth is enormous, and how the hell is the video card supporting itself against gravity?

Building a computer just seems like so much could go wrong. I've never done it myself but I plan on building my next computer. Every man and his dog says you get more bang for your buck than buying branded crap.

The most expensive of the laptops I ever had was about $800. Apparently, even a half-decent rig could've been built with that kind of money instead.

And for the record (and Haven), I've been using a computer ever since I was 11. It f!cked my eyesight to the point where I needed glasses, but in doing so, I know my way around putting one together, despite never building one from scratch.

I practised with our very first Windows machine. The big motherboard's gonna eat the little motherboard.

Welp, my brains dead for now.

I'll just google a checklist or something whenever I actually get the money to even start such a thing.

I've stared at video games since I was like, 6 or so. My eyesight is the same way and thus, wear glasses also.

It also doesn't help that I started staring into my computer even more often and more closely as well when I got my first laptop.

If I had my camera right now (I can't find it), I'd be able to show you the Beast.

But instead, I only have a cartoon representation of the case, with Electrobolt hiding directly behind it.

Oh, and ponies having ponytails is the silliest idea ever, especially when it's the wrong way around.

Weird how my eyes work perfectly fine. And I've been with computers and video games for many years. Perhaps I'm made of tougher stuff.

Apparently I can't see sh!t without having two extra eyes, and sometimes, even if I have four eyes, I still can't see sh!t.

"You're a vast waste of oxygen and you smell."

It's true. Your body takes up billions upon billions of oxygen atoms, and you have a nose.

Oh, and...

kinda late here, but i'm saving up money to build a computer, myself. i don't know exactly how much money i need, though, or if i am able to get it til the end of this year...

I just got my computer parts, and I put it together and now they look like a computer.

If anypony sees Haven, tell him I got a message for him.
