I guess I'm super sensitive to the sun or something. ;~; Not even SPF500 could save me. When you mean the islands, do you mean the West Indies?

 

Nope. Balinese here. We have clear sky for at least ten months a year, and we rarely if ever have a cloudy weather. It's either blazing sun or soul-drenching rain, hardly ever in-between.

 

Maybe you can help it with some special diet? :x

Eh, not really. It's a case-by-case thing in my opinion. if you give an earth pony a keen hearing or sight, or a pegasi an uncanny ability on archery, it's pretty much acceptable.

All you need is a good, clear backstory and everything should be fine. Misty Leaves, an OC of Bari's, is a pegasus that can direct an entire storm, but she's a gazillion miles away from being a Mary Sue.
