It's a lot of fun. To quote a short review I posted on IMDB:

 

"Aside from some unnecessary subplots, not fully-fleshed out characters, and a few predictable moments, it's all made up for with some awesome dinosaur action, great cinematography, and likable central characters. 8.2/10"

 

I might add that the last 20 minutes in Jurassic World are cinematic gold.
