I don't know how much bigger each time.

Apparently, there's another reason for ISPs to start throttling users' Internet connections: because everyone's logged in at once and their infrastructure can't handle the traffic; that's not throttling, that's a traffic jam. Long story short: the net neutrality debate is far more complex than you can ever imagine and you can't just blindly pick a side.

lol

Are you sure that wherever you read that isn't just there to try and make them sound like they're in anyway justified?

Cause, uh, you shouldn't just believe everything you see on the internet like that. If a company cannot provide a proper service to the people, then that's on them and they shouldn't be a company anymore. You don't just suddenly up and change how things works to fit your needs while screwing over so many more in the process. Plus, if that is even anywhat true then why hasn't that been said or spoken about until now? 2017 and we've had the internet around and growing for how long now? it wasn't a problem back then, but it suddenly is? Yeah, totally sounds legit.

Also, yes, you can just choose a side because all you need to know is that something that's been free, given to you, and an extremely common tool used by literally everyone is suddenly about to be limited, cost some price just to start using again, or taken away totally. What more past that do you need to be on the sensible side?

This is why I don't wanna talk about this topic: because I have no idea what I'm getting myself into and I'll make myself an idiot in doing so. This is also why I don't even bother expressing myself. Everything that I have to offer, I don't offer. No one wants to care, no one wants to bother, no one wants to listen.

I'll just pay attention when it actually starts affecting me, no point in worrying about it now.

The only problem with that mindset is that usually once it starts affecting you, its too late to actually do much on it. By that point, you've to have a whole nother long drawn out process just to undo what its done, which could be prevented by actually taking action right away.

Mind you, this coming from one that's merely rooting for the good end cause ive seen my fair share of this stuff, but ive not done anything cause I really, really, really, really hate politics and such and will avoid at all costs.

I'd love to take action, however I don't think I can considering my age.

Also, same with me, my friends keep talking politics and all it is bickering that leads nowhere.

I mean, I'm not one to watch Minecraft gameplay but if it's something you want to share go ahead.

Well, it's not so much gameplay than it is random tomfoolery, but that depends on whether I wanna record my gameplay world or my test world.

Well, random tomfoolery is not very interesting to watch, if you had modded setups that would be more interesting.

I think it's good you guys are thinking about these things and wanting to do something :rarity:

I think it's much worse to be passive or complacent

Well, that's the thing: it's a modded setup.

I'd rather disqualify myself first; there's no input that I have on the discussion that can be of any help.

Gotta do the voting thing or else there's no point in having the voting thing, you know?

Well then it is interesting then. What is interesting to me at the moment is setups for Industrial Craft and such (as that is what I'm doing).

I can identify with that, politics is especially difficult because some people are so passionate about it that they'll shoot down your beliefs; it's a pretty big divide between the beliefs and it of course it makes it even harder when you are ignorant of them and people criticize you for it instead of informing.

Well, for me, I feel like it's not just politics, it's even down to what orientation the toilet paper roll should be or which pant leg you should put on first; everything I say I feel like it's controversial; like, why else have I not bothered with putting up an art thread or even a request thread?

It's even harder if you're the only one with those beliefs or combination of beliefs; like, I could bring up how there should be a city-building game that has Minecraft-styled chunk loading and no one would get it. Like, have you even heard of the guy who worked on AMD's Athlon and Zen CPU architectures joining the ranks of Tesla? Of course you haven't.

Every opinion I have, even how many pixels wide the "Submit Reply" button should be, will remain unexpressed to anyone who doesn't care. You, Haven, Cinny-Minny, and probably Olly are probably the only exceptions because you know me too well already.

My policy is basically "No one cares, so I won't."

I'm not sure if I am; ever since "the event" nine months ago, I've been meaning to get a proper diagnosis, but everything else became more important than my mental health. What's even worse is my parents not even believing me; took the silent treatment to make them believe.

I'll say this: it's hard enough living with two sisters with low-functioning autism; it's even harder to convince your parents you may have high-functioning autism when all they know is the low kind.

Also don't know why this footage is all jittery; could be the bitrate, could also mean I have to use OBS instead. If it's not uploaded yet, wait for it.

you're definitely an aspie. your interests, specificity, it's all there. I was 'diagnosed' with it which surprised me. I don't think I'm much like other aspies... you wouldn't be able to tell just by talking to me. But I can always tell when someone else is

Shame, but I cant undo who I quote from, but basically this. It's kinda obvious with how you act, Ganny. Not that it's a bad thing and you should totally see about it fully instead of finding any given reason to put it off, but yeah. I'm not the best to say what is what, but from what Ive seen around through friends and a little insight, yeah, you do fit.
