I've been working on a song for about a couple of days and have it almost finished but I showed it to some of mah friends and they said the part where it transitions into the new sound

(0:34) Can you give your opinions on how it should transition nicely or something? I'm using FL Studio 10 with mainly Absynth 5

This is an interesting work.  It sort of sounds like music you'd here from a level on one of those nostalgic platformer games.  One thing that I would recommend (if it's possible on FL Studio; honestly I've never that particular program) is altering the velocities (individual loudness) of each specific note because it helps it to give the music a more realistic and authentic feel (or, if you've already done so, to alter them slightly more so that it's a bit more noticable).

As for the transition, sometimes I would argue that the best transition of all is to have no transition.  Perhaps just cut the silent part after the run at 0:30-0:33 and jump straight into the new sound.  The run itself almost acts as a transition, so I think that it could work. You could try that out and see how you like it.

Hope that this helps!

Nice song you made there, definetly something I wouldn't mind hearing more from wink.png
Now I'm not all that much of a music expert so I can't say much more about your work than that I liked it,
but as far as the transaction is concernt I need to argee with your friends, its a bit of a wierd stop.
I come across this problem alot with video edditing (mostly with the actual video and only sometimes with the sound) and than I prefer to smoothen the transaction to make it slowly fade, altough a sudden stop might be better for what you have here...
Anyways, you try out a view things and see what you like best, there's not realy any other way, or at least the best way if you ask me!

Okay I'll try that in a bit, it's possibly my first time actually trying to make something so its most like a trial and error thing, just have to find out how to make a sound stop without having to create a totally new project like I've been doing.
