How would you reject a Pony confessing their feelings for you?

Not necessarily, while humans aren't in the Friendship is Magic universe there was a human main character in G1 MLP named Megan and going into the universe of talking ponies didn't really affect her height and the same can be said of the numerous humans in the various human in Equestria fics that I have read. If humans did shrink in size comparable to how much smaller ponies are there in comparison to our universe than yes indeed getting your freak on with them would be quite difficult or even impossible, but if humans remained the same size than though it may take some getting used to could be done.

 

But also G4 is a revamp of the entire series if you think of it. Before there wasn't an Equestria, just an alternate world with talking ponies, and pegasi. So if a human's stature doesn't change in the FiM world, then there would be some that would be considered giants, or a monster by the ponies. Could you imagine Pinkie Pie writing a song about the strange creature that walks on two legs. lol. I wouldn't know if I should be insulted or flattered.

With how they reacted to Zecora in Bridle Gossip that is unfortunately very likely and I myself at 6 feet tall and weighing 350 pounds would be one of the most likely humans to be considered a monster. I have read several fanfics where this has been a theme and while quite a few of them have fallen into the trap of wish fulfillment cliches there are some that have done a convincing realistic job of how a human could at first be seen as a monster but then slowly start to be accepted by the ponies.

 

Of course the op assumes that you have already gained the trust of at the very least the pony that is confessing their feelings to you so I don't think that pony in question would consider humans monsters, I certainly wouldn't have romantic feelings for a being I think is a monster. What I would find interesting though is how other ponies would react to such a relationship, some fanfics have inter species relationship as fairly common and for the most part accepted while some have the ponies view it as a bit taboo.

If it was Rarity or Trixie I would say hell no and that I'd rather die. If it was Zecora I'd say hell yes. And  considering all the crap we've done as a species through out the eons I'm pretty sure our bodies could adapt and find a way to have relations with a pony or whatever.

I feel the same way.  If I was in love with her, and she was in love with me, I cannot fathom not wanting to be together just because sex was not possible.  Sex is not more important than love.  Not in my mind, anyway.

I just cannot understand why sex is viewed as so important.  Some people don't get to have sex.  Some people don't get to go to college.  Some people don't get to own a house.  Oh well.  Enjoy what you do have.  And don't pass up something great just because it will prevent you from getting something that doesn't really matter.

I'm probably going to be the only one saying this, but...I wouldn't date a pony. Possibly because I'm a girl, but I just don't find ponies attractive, at least not in a romantic sense. They're more adorable to me, like cats or the little fluffy things you throw in Fling.

 

So I'd be a "Thanks, but no thanks. Let's just stay friends." school of thought.

Now I'm not gonna get too weird here...but...assuming a place like Equestria is real, then I guess it would depend on the pony. In most cases I would highly value the friendship of any pony, but beyond that, there`s only a couple I would consider. Maybe Twilight...but I think since she`s the pony I`d be most like, a serious relationship seems a bit pointless to me. Now Dashie on the other hand (or hoof)...I would seriously consider her. ^^ I could see us both benefiting immensely from each others personalities. It might be a bit weird at first...but over time I'd get used to it.

Well, considering that ponies are very intelligent creatures, I wouldn't say anything brash to them, especially if we were friends for a long time. That's a one-way ticket to the Princess banishing you to the moon, and nopony wants that.

 

Although, if Twilight did hint that she liked me, I couldn't turn her down. After all, me and her are both science buffs, and I believe that we'd have the power, skill, and intelligence to change both worlds.

 I don't know if I'd have it in me to reject them, but to answer the question, I would do it in the nicest way possible. Hopefully we'd still be friends when it's all over, even though things usually don't work out that way. Rejecting a pony would be tough, especially If they make one of their sad faces or start crying. That wouldn't just break my heart, that would shatter it  . Even thinking about it makes me feel bad.

 

 If a pony did confess their feelings for me, I wouldn't shut them down. Instead I'd give that pony the biggest hug evuh  .

I am not sure who I would reject.  Probably Trixie, or Granny Smith, or anypony who is underage.  I definitely would not reject any of the mane six. As far as background ponies, it is difficult to say without knowing anything about their personalities.

Sorry to bump, this thread, but it's not bestiality. It's Xenophilia. By that logic Spike (note Spike is a little underage) having a crush on Rarity is also bestiality.

 

Bestiality implies the FlM Ponies aren't sapient. 

 

FIM Ponies are sapient and are pretty much Humans trapped inside the bodies of Ponies.

 

By all means, you can reject a Pony if you're not comfortable with dating something that isn't Human.
