Am I jumping on a bandwagon? Nope, I am setting it ablaze with blackened fire!

Welcome to my not-so-special-yet-you-still-want-to-post-in-it Aggrotech/Harsh EBM (Electronic Based Music) thread! This is a very interesting genre of music that is one of my favorites! It can accompany many different moods, personalities, and atmospheres. It can be dark and depressing or destructive yet soothing. The many different sounds and personalities of the people who create it is something that I find to be very enjoyable.

Why not share some of this music? Know any good bands or songs? Post them here!

Wow, well the fist song to me seems like Industrial music and Deathcore put together. Well what I can say is that this genre definitely does take the route of being unique in it's weird, chaotic and destructive way. Probably needs some time to grow onto me, though honestly that band looks like a less crazy version of Skinny Puppy.

Yeah, Psyclon Nine now has a more black metal sound to them, but still have different EBM elements. When they started out, mainly their first two albums were basically entirely Harsh EBM/Aggro-Tech. I personally like the first 3 albums more than their latest work, but it is still good. Sadly, the vocalist, Nero, is still MIA at the moment.

I love this thread. I was actually just listening to the "We the Fallen" album by Psyclon 9. Definitely my favorite album of theirs. I love the Black Metal elements Nero incorporated into it, he's one of the music artists I quite admire.

Psyclon Nine are much more... experimental then the average Aggrotech band. Aggrotech and Harsh EBM come in all sorts of flavors, but I know you're into some more experimental and chaotic music yourself.

Either way, I started with an artist called YADE, who introduced me to Harsh EBM, and then got into Arise X, who got me into Aggrotech. Either way, a good place to start with Harsh EBM is Grendel, they're pretty well known and have a great style.

As far as Aggrotech goes, a well known, somewhat tongue-in-cheek artist is Nachtmahr.

I quite tongue-in-cheek and dancey stuff like this, as well as the "serious" and more experimental stuff.

Solaris....I have heard that name before, somewhere....Either way, I really like the sound of this. :) A bit more on the relaxing side of Aggro-tech for me, which I always enjoy.
