It's been at least half an hour, but I don't care. I felt her chest rise and fall against mine, a warm heat against the side of my body. She was already in a deep sleep, but a content smile was still on her face, as if the dream she was having delighted her. So instead of leaving her, I stayed, providing a sturdy shoulder and a warm blanket around her. Her mane was out of place again, I noticed, chuckling to myself. Taking a hoof, I tucked the stray hair into place behind her ear, my heart melting at the adorable sight next to me.

 

(Damn that was beautiful....)
