How to make the 'Rainbow Factory' singing effect?

I know he uses a mix of Melodyne and Bitspeak. He uses Melodyne for the artificial harmonies and distorts it slightly  Bitspeak more than likely for the tone processing. Considering I've never used these, I sadly can't help you past that, but I hope this bit of info can help you get a start. Good Luck.

Yeah, I think he records his vocals and autotunes the buck out of it in Melodyne. He probably duplicates the layer and brings the copy down an octave to get raspier more robotic sound.

Don't worry guys, I know exactly what I'm talking about.

Sounds like to me he's actually using a Vocoder instead of auto tune.

Auto-tune just bumps your vocals to the next closest note. It's pitch correction.

A vocoder actually replaces your voice with an instrument sound and allows you to control which notes are being sung through MIDI. The words you say will pass through the vocoder so you will still hear the words you say, it will just be highly digitalized and should sound just like it.

Give it a try.

Agreed, Gucci

He's definately using a vocoder (whether it's in Melodyne or Bitspeak, I'm uncertain)

I'm not a pro, but from what I understand, similar vocals could be achieved either with a good autotuner, or a vocorder. I'm gonna go ahead and assume that Glaze autotunes his vocals in Melodyne and duplicates the layer, simply because of what he says on his Youtube channel. I could be wrong, but that's my best guess. xJr4u.png

Also true. If anything, ask the big guy himself on his tumblr or twitter. That's what I would do, personally.
