I joined the fandom just a year and few days ago.

It was a small group then.

less then a 100, i guess.

Then suddnly, there were some mlp fans, bragging about us on website.

(there's a site called DC inside and todayhumor. They have gallary, mostly like thread)

DCinside's Comic Gallary was not satisfied and started to poke us..

very offensive hacker group started the war...

Korean Bronies mostly fought then(like 7 mths ago.)

They still have teams now..

 

Don't want to even talk about it, I thought that you guys should know why I left korean brony fandom.

(Guess korea is still in transition period of rapid growth.. it took less then 7 decades to grow, I mean why they are all very picky and has complecated thinking)

The thing is that all groups of bronies seem to experience a lot of hate. Believe me, on some Internet forums and websites, people are downright terrible to bronies. It isn't exclusively a Korean thing.

Well I dunno, I've talked with a Japanese brony on miiverse and either my Japanese is currently really bad or he truly was the biggest jerk I've ever talked to. Not that any other Japanese brony will be like this as I've never actually talked to any other, but unintelligent jerks are worse than the smart ones IMO.

Not really, just trying to compare the two together as opposed to saying the already said "I don't understand what you're talking about" post.

Hmm, well i don't completely understand the post, i'll tell you that thee is an absurd amount of hate towards bronies for no apparent reason the internet and the real world. Since most of these haters haven't actually seen the show, the best counter i could think of is.: "Are you that insecure about your gender and sexuality that you are afraid to watch a TV show?"

I can't help to say that feeding fuel to a fire and provoking even more conflict between the group isn't the greatest idea possible. It does seem like this other group has no sense of understanding of another's interest, and to that is why people simply pick on others, because of differences.

 

All I could say is that the most appropiate thing was done. You did abandon the other website that had verbally picked on you and some others. I don't think some people have seen that was a good move to leave that sense of abuse.

 

There is all sort of abuse online and offline against bronies, the one big major step of settling the matter is just embracing, and defending yourselves from any abuse. I don't think any offensive tactics should be taken. We are suppose to display a positive image as being part of this "Brony Community."

I'm a little confused, and my low comprehension at times makes it even worse, all I got is that your saying Korean bronies are jerks and hackers.

 

While this could be true with some, it isn't true with all I'm sure, theres good people aswell as bronies in any culture and country or what have you somewhere, there may be a stereotype of them being bad or they may be mostly bad, but Ive learned that there's good people everywhere just as there are bad.

I would do the same to fight over people who hate on mlp, but I gave up on that now. Those Koreans are the ones who love that show more then they should, and they take it way too far then usual right there.

 

For me, I am a Korean. Do I do that shit? Of course not, because I don't want to ever start some war about mlp.

 

It just seems like to me though, that those particular people act just like some of the younger bronies around the world trying to defend what they like and such. You may just have experienced a slightly more tense one then others.
