  1. I managed to pick up one of these for $180 shipped. They are discontinued and I see them on Ebay at a ridiculous $250 + S&H so I'm happy I avoided the out-of-production markup.
  2. Cold Steel Recon 1 Northfield Tidioute
  3. Not interested at all The one and only CoD I've ever played was 2005's "Big Red One" which was probably a different animal altogether
  4. Spyderco Endura sprint run with blade of Hitachi Super Blue and 420J1 laminate, and a Spyderco Ladybug.

    gaming Wii U price drop!

No wonder they had to drop the price, the hardware is terrible compared to what's coming in the form of Xbone and PS4. As well, they've been pretty dismissive about the competition: -"We’ve got Zelda. We’ve got Mario. We’ve got Donkey Kong. In addition to great titles like Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101" -"I don't think consumers buy hardware just because it's sexy and new." Mmmm, as someone else said, great lineup if you're living in 1995... and yes, customers do like their hardware to be sexy and especially NEW!
  6. Nope, no sense in polluting the area with radiation and fallout for another 50 years. I couldn't even look at the explosion or I'd be blinded. I'd rather detonate a large conventional bomb.
  7. Gaga's actual video is up now so I'm replacing the lyric video in the OP. Some say it's a bit of a risky move releasing the video so soon, kind of "putting all one's eggs in one basket"... I like the video though! Check it out in the first post.
  8. Having gone two weeks without internet I hadn't heard either of these until yesterday. Applause is Gaga's first single since 2011, and Roar is Katy's first since 2012, so I was pretty excited to see what they had come up with... So, which song do you prefer? Roar is reportedly on track to outsell Applause by 2:1.
  9. Eh, I haven't thought about it much. I remember Pinkie Pie's visualization of Mulia with a samurai sword running on her two hooves, that's how it's done in most fan art it seems but most ponies rarely if ever walk on two hooves in the actual show.
  10. What boulder said. I don't want to deal with zombies or some kind of "rage virus" (no, just because The Walking Dead is fun to watch doesn't mean a zombie apocalypse would actually be fun), I don't want to deal with a deadly plague, and I don't want to deal with nuclear war. So that leaves collapse of society... still pretty bad, but fortunately not many people around my area have guns... and I do. Normally I like firearms, but in an apocalypse I don't want to run into random hungry people with guns, sorry.
  11. Don't... plan... to? Well, I'm definitely higher than that. I've watched every episode more than once, many several times. However I'm probably less addicted than most people here. Well-balanced hehehehe.
  12. I would have to say the DayZ mod, and the upcoming DayZ standalone. Endless fun and not difficult either. One of my favorite games of all time.
  13. Won't get either of them (I'd much rather spend the money on a gaming PC) but if I was looking at a console: PS4: more powerful, costs less. Xbox One: less powerful, costs more. Power and price aren't everything, but Microsoft is clearly more greedy than Sony, and they're much less consumer-friendly. Do I really want to support that by buying their machine? I know they've changed their horrid policies (only after a thorough public shaming), but I still wouldn't buy the console after hearing what their original plans were. I don't want to support a company like that. Too bad since I've only owned Xbox consoles thus far.
  14. Hahahaha, riding them is good for them, it's like walking your dog. Necessary exercise. Unless you're a 250-lb man on a Shetland pony.
  15. I've heard they have nice cruises and the local transportation is pretty funky there are quite a few youth groups, as well here's a nice block of apartments have you considered Kandahar?
  16. Is that true? I read something different. I wouldn't buy it anyways, after trying PCs I realized both the machines and the games are far superior to consoles. As well, you aren't required to buy a subscription to play your game online (for most games) and you have way more control over the whole thing.
  17. 1.) How old are you? 21. 2.) What is your level of educational attainment? Not sayin'. 3.) What groups or cultural identities other than Brony do you self-identify with? Uh... knife aficionados. 4.) What attracted you to MLP and brony culture? The animation and characters in the show. 5.) Do you consider MLP-related activities to be your primary hobby? Nope. 6.) What percentage of your leisure activities would you estimate are related to MLP? Less than 5%. 7.) What portion of your friends also consider themselves bronies? None. 8.) If you have non-brony friends, are you ‘out’ as a brony to them? Lolno. 9.) Do you feel that bronies as a group are put upon or stigmatized on the internet? (Or society as a whole?) Yes.
  18. Hmmm, some of the top posters on other forums I've been on have had upwards of 23,000 posts. On one forum I'm on, somebody has almost 189,000 posts and the runners up have 85,000+ and almost 70,000 respectively. I think the main thing keeping posts down is the 100-character requirement... a lot of times I don't bother answering a topic if I don't have 100 characters worth of talking to do... I hate "padding" my posts.
  19. I've had stuff stolen when I wasn't there, but I've never been mugged. Most muggings here probably wouldn't involve firearms (if there's a weapon involved at all) - knives are the weapon of choice.
  20. I wasn't pleased with the sharpness of this knife, so I totally resharpened it... I think I did a pretty good job. Now it's really really sharp.
  21. D'aww no replies. I assume most people either haven't owned too many pianos (expensive), or don't know the differences. It's a pretty complicated instrument and most of the important pieces are hidden away inside...
  22. In that case, do you like the International CXT? I'm still waiting to see one of these things on the road someday. Must be imposing...
  23. Some more cars: 1977-1989 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Maserati Quattroporte '70 Challenger This thing from Super Fly is pretty cool, too.
  24. You want to be very careful about choosing a school when it comes to the Oriental martial arts, or really any martial arts for that matter... I seriously doubt you can properly learn any martial art yourself by watching web videos...
  25. It's been going on since the 1970s, they used to send physical letters to businesses, the internet allowed them to greatly expand... and they make a ton of money from it. I have no idea how people still fall for it... in some cases people have lost millions.
