Random Pony Scetch

So I was completely bored out of my mind when I made this one. Created on the 21st of April, I planned on waiting until I got my printer cord (so i could use my scanner), but I felt like making a post and I took a picture instead.

 

 

The main goal of this drawing was to successfully draw a pony that wasnt in a standard, standing position for the first time. I think I've improved immensly since my last drawing (A few months ago. It was terrible).

By the by, I prefer to leave my drawings shaded in black and white as it reflects my own personal art style

I understand I misspelt "Sketch" in the title. I even noticed it before I published the post, but it slipped my mind XD
now it's bugging me :/

The only thing I have a slight problem with are the eyes, they seem to missing the shines.

The body and limb shapes are good! Good job on the position (the crossed hooves are a nice touch), and I like the style of the shading and coloring too For some reason I really like the facial expression. It looks thoroughly unimpressed, haha. The ear is a bit pointy and triangular, but other than that A+ Keep it up

Wow, thanks! This was, in fact, random. I personally haven't received that positive of feedback before. And yes, I FORGOT the SHINIES x.x

I knew I forgot to draw them in after I finished, but I didn't want to try to erase heavy pencil marks and have it look sloppy

That's good! Really good, especially if you created it out of boredom. I like how you did an Octavia pose, you mastered it perfectly!
