"I'm a WindBreaker," Goldre shrugged.

The sky darkened again.

"Crap! Stop messing with the clouds!" Goldre charged at the pegasi, but it was too late. Terrorite lowered herself back into the ring.

"Sweet darkness," she growled. "makes me so happy! Just wait until the moon comes out!"

Artemis was ready to fight! She grabbed her bow, arrows, and katana. "Wow! So this is the arena we are in! It's so cool!" Artemis said. She waited patiently for the fight to begin. She got into a battle position with her katana until the fight began. "I wonder who i'm fighting" she said.

@,@,

"Huh?" Silver said confused as to what was going on. Goldre spoke like normal before someone put a cloud over the stadium and then Goldre was Terrorite again.

"Ah I understand now." Silver Storm said figuring it out. "Goldre must have a darker side that comes out when she's not in the sun." Silver Storm thought. It would explain her awkward behavior. "So all I need to do is make sure the sun in shining." Silver Storm said looking at the pegasus over the stadium with the cloud blocking the sunlight.

Ignoring Terrorite, Silver Storm immediately shot up toward the sky in effort to get rid of the cloud. "Oh no! Im not letting any misguided fools mess up my match." Silver Storm said toward the pegasus. He then readied a Hurricane Hoof and shot it toward the cloud.

As crimson waited for a reply from the announcer, he didn't notice as a female pony enered the ring, but he did notice the crowds cheers explode however, and turned to see a young unicorn pony, looking around amazed at the arena interior, and seemingly unaware of him, crimson raised an eyebrow, "this is my opponent?" He then noticed the bow and arrows on her back, Interesting, I haven't fought an archer in some time" thought crimson to himself, he then smiled, "this could be fun" he thought, as he grabbed helios by the hilt, and pulled it from the ground and rested the back of the blade on his shoulder, he then coughed loudly to get her attention.

Terrorite watched as her opponent took to the sky.

"A chase?" she asked. She flung herself into the sky, flapping her leathery wings as many times as a bat would. She quickly caught up with him and just as he started his tornado punch, so sank her claws into his hind legs.

"Tag!" she laughed. "You're hit!"

She climbed higher until she was practically on his back. She snapped his wings together and tied them with her Shadow Whip. She launched off of him, watching his rapid descent.

@,

(One doesn't simply snap someone's wings)

Before he could reach the cloud Silver Storm was intercepted by  Terrorite. She had quickly clawed him and then snapped his wings before launching him back downward.

"Argh" Silver grunted as the pain subsided due to his adrenaline kicking in,  numming the pain. He still had the hurricane around his hoof and with quick thinking Silver Storm punched toward the ground.

The hurricane propelled him back upward toward Terrorite. He buzzed right past her and straight through the cloud that was over the stadium. Thereby destroying it. "Bye-Bye Terrorite" Silver said smugly.

(you two might want to remember to mention each other in your posts so you send notifications to your opponent. You know just as a reminder for them to reply... Also this is a minor detail but topaz said you should go to the third arena while Radioactive Tragedy left it but she fought in the fourth arena and Rune and Swordpoint were in the third and with what is going on it that ring you don't want to walk into it haha)

"STOP THE FIGHT IMMEDIATELY!" The stadium's loudspeakers said in the voice of a middle aged mare. "Huh?" Topaz questioned. "Would the Tournament committee explain themselves? Why have you stopped this fight?" "The Tournament rule's state that a player who is not in play may not be given any sort of treatment or modification by another player against their will. As Rune Breaker was being given a ten count, he was considered out of play." "Since... when did we start paying attention to that?" "As will cannot be determined, and as Rune Breaker is considered out of play, Swordpoint is found guilty of illegal actions outside of the ring, and is disqualified from the Dark Tournament." "As a lover and fan of this tournament, I must object!" "There will be no further deliberations." The audience began throwing trash into Topaz's announcer box. "SHUT UP TOPAZ!" An audience member yelled. "YEAH, IT'S PERFECTLY FAIR!" The ref looked horribly confused. "Does that mean... Rune Breaker is the winner?"

"I-I... I o-object." Rune Breaker grimaced his eyes open and struggling to rise. "I was j-just playing possum. Ha. Ha." He grit his teeth against the pain as he shakily got to his feet. "Obviously he noticed and wanted to finish the fight on his terms..." He stumbled forward falling once then rising again to stand next to the still glowing circle. "How bout we finish this right Swordpoint..."

Rune's body quaked, he wasn't how much longer he could stand. He joints throbbed painfully, the world seemed to be in a fog and unfocused. His head ached like it was full of shifting nails, pure determination kept him standing. He planned to win this match still and win it right. He couldn't be the pony that got through on a fluke technicality, he had to show he was strong. And if Swordpoint lost in a way that wasn't his fault maybe he could still save that special somepony of his.

"So what say you?!" he yelled at the announcer's box. ""You encourage participants to finish downed opponents during the ten count, to insure victory, isn't that a modification? He wanted me out so he could win on his own grounds, I'm sure..." 'You are a smooth liar aren't you, my little pony ( :DD hahaha couldn't resist :P ).' "... if not for your interruption I might not have gotten this opportunity. So do we get to continue this and shed some blood? Or would you deny the crowd a proper end to this fight?" He'd done his best to act strong and keep his voice steady well shouting but it was so much effort. He wasn't sure how well he had done. He was sure it had cracked at least a couple times.

"Attention fighters." The speakers spoke again. "Upon further review, we will allow the fight between Swordpoint and Rune Breaker to continue." (Pass the word to swordpoint for me.)

(Thanks for the change back haha I'm a bit busy during the day so I only check on my IPad and it is slow here. Happy Rune could get his two bits in :P )

Rune Breaker gave a weak smile. "Well Swordpoint, guess it's time to end this, sorry to get your hopes up that you might win after all that. But this battle has been mine to lose since the beginning. I know hundreds of runes, but I've only used one in this battle. I know four alchemy circles made of one different runes each. I keep a symbol for those runes on horseshoes." He raised his left forehoof. "This is the one for gravity runes and this one," Rune raised his right forehoof, the horseshoe glowing lightly and put it to very edge of the haywire gravity field, "which you shook at the beginning of the match, is a teleportation rune. And Swordpoint, runes are only visible when active."

Light shined from under Swordpoint's front hoof where they had shook. The light began to spread up his body and a faint glowing ghost image of himself within the alchemy circle began to form. Its hoof out stretched as if to shake Runes glowing horseshoe, heralding the magic jump to come.

@ragestar Artemis noticed the cough. She walked down to the male pony who coughed in the arena. "Oh Hello! Are you the dude i'm fighting? Also what's your name?" Artemis asked curiously holding her black katana name. "Wow!  I've never fought in a arena before!!" Artemis exclaimed.

Crimson raised an eyebrow, "yeah, I'm your opponent" he walked closer to her and held out his left hoof for a hoofshake, as he was holding helios in his right, "my names crimson grinn, and your artemis, right?" He asked politely, grinning slyly. "So do you want first crack? Or should I start the dance?" He asked, still holding out his hoof.

Swordpoint reappeared in the center of the circle. He could feel it weighing him down, although it was no longer a crushing force. "Ha. Clever, Rune Breaker! I can still fight, though!" He tried to push off from the ground, but his wings were unable to lift him off the ground.

"Grr... Well played. But as long as I can move, I'll keep fighting." Damn... if I teleport myself outside the circle, it'll be too much stress on my body. Unless... Swordpoint glanced all around himself. Magic... the runes are magic! Yes, if I can just absorb some of their power... I should be able to restore my abilities.

Swordpoint forced his wings outward and began to gather some of the thick magical energy in the air.

@,

"I expected as much. I'll just have to keep letting the circle increase its pull till you can't move... Sorry." Rune activated his horn sending a little burst into the ring. The chipped piece of his horn sparked harshly causing him to wince in pain. "You might feel a bit of crushing pain."

@@Fivefs

Swordpoint felt the circle increase in power. The gravity began to pull him downward. Dammit! I haven't gathered enough energy! But I must do something! Maybe I can manage a shield spell...

He stared at the ground, when he noticed that his right hoof was giving off a faint glow. "What's this?" He lifted it up in front of his face to discover that it glowed just like the runes on the ground. Swordpoint smirked. "I see, now. You've been pulling me along." Yes, there must be a way to reverse the spell. But I don't know anything about runes or their innerworkings... And if I feed it magic, I may well blow myself up.

Swordpoint thought for a moment before choosing his next move. He extended his wings and cast a shield spell, encasing him in a golden bubble. The pull of the gravity disappeared at once, but he still felt a small pain in his chest. I did not fully replenish my magic... Well, I can still cast a few more before the strain overwhelms me. I should thank Rune for saturating the ring with magic.

@ragestar Artemis gladly shook his hoof and smirked. "I guess I will have the first move!" Artemis declared holding her black katana. When the fight started, she dashed as fast as she could and took a swing with her katana at Crimson as hard as she could.

Crimson was expecting somthing like this, he quickly ducked low and sprung forward pointing his sword at her heart. "Looks like I'll have to kill you after all" he thought, or maybe she'll duck this either way its goona end with the same result." He thought sadly.

@,

"You're stalling Swordpoint, that's supposed to be my game." Rune sent another painful bolt into the circle. "That shield won't hold for long you saw what happened to mine and that was with a second circle to help me. And when it breaks the gravity will bring you down hard." Rune emphasized hard by shooting another bolt to increase the gravity. Pain shot through his brain making his face scrunch and him whimper slightly. Swordpoint's shield visibly wavering under the extreme pressure. "If that doesn't bring you down I'll just entirely. unleash the circle again, it shouldn't kill you outright you'll probably have a couple minute pinned down before it is fatal... I have to win here Swordpoint."

@ragestar Artemis dashed back. "Nice move!" She said as she smirked. She blocked with her katana. She stood still and watched Crimson carefully while she blocked. "I don't give up so easily!" Artemis said. "He's good! I wonder where he got all this skill from..." Artemis thought.

Crimson pulled his sword away and sweepkicked the feet out from under artemis, "you have to learn to watch all areas of your body in a fight, or you'll end up dead before you even have time to blink, much less kill me!" He yelled. "Good she dodged it! Maybe I won't have to kill her after all!" He thought.

@ragestar Artemis jumped back up and switched out her katana for her bow and arrows. She jumped back quickly and tried to put her arrow into a good shooting position. She watched his movements closely, let go of the arrow, and tried to shoot Crimson.

Crimsons eyes widened in suprise, "DAMN SHE'S FAST!" He thought as he attempted to dodge the arrow, but wasn't entirely succesful, and it slashed his cheek. Crimson then quickly jumped back on his feet, and rolled forward, and attempted to hit her in the jaw with the pommel of his sword, "sorry, this is gonna hurt, but its better than dying." He thought solemly.

Swordpoint felt his shield wavering. "Well played, Rune, but I have an unplayed card as well." I pray that your magic is strong enough to counter this, Celestia. Rune magic is a terrible and dangerous art... And I fear even your power cannot rival it.

Swordpoint closed his eyes and his armor began to glow a bright gold. The glow engulfed Swordpoint until he could no longer be seen. When it dissipated, his armor was gone.

I feel it! Energy running through me again! But now... did it remove the spell...? He glanced at his hoof to find that it still glowed faintly. Damn... I suppose that I must avoid getting near him if I can escape this circle. "Yes, it's a little gift from my princess, Celestia. My armor was specially made by the princess herself. It was made purely from magical energy." His shield flickered again before smashing into tiny pieces. Swordpoint fell to his knees immediately from the force of the gravity.

He wondered if he had made a mistake by absorbing his armor. He knew that he would not be able to summon it again, and that Celestia would have to make him another set... if he survived. He struggled against the mighty force of the runes, his lance still in his hoof. Amazingly, he managed to stand. His whole body shook, however. If it weren't for his history in combat, he likely would have already collapsed. He forced his wings outward and began to gather energy for another spell.

(I changed my mind, I'll just make Dreams give up.)

Dreams looked at Cosmo after the blades hit her legs and she was filled with pain. She didn't want to die. And anyway, what the heck does this tournament offer if you won anyway?

"U-Um! Cosmo! P-Please don't kill me! I give up! I have a life to live! I can't let the Shadowbolts die" Dreams stammered. "You win! I lose! Good day!"

((Terrorite snapped Silver's wings TOGETHER, not breaking them, just so that they were at an odd position against eachother over his back to tie them together. Wings are fine, just tied))

The cloud moved out of the way and Goldre returned. She scowled.

"And now everypony knows why I HATE eclipses!" she yelled to the world.

Goldre slowly flew down into the ring.

"I guess I'll switch to my old tactics," Goldre said. "Silver, I apologize for Terrorite's irrational behavior."

Cosmo sighed with relief. He lifted her with telekinesis out the ring and waited for her countdown. He half expected her to mimic his "surrender" when she tunneled up under him but she was sincere. With telepathy, Cosmo told her, "Thank you. I was worried one of us would end up dead from this. I know a specialist who can ensure none of your injuries affect your performance with your team, if you think you'll need it. I enjoyed this match Dreams, you're craftier than I anticipated." With that and a smirk, Cosmo waited for the ref, dogding trash the enraged audience threw at him. "Dreams was the only one I'll spare," Cosmo decides, "Everyone else will die."
