4 is obviously the best number. It just is.

8 is my second favorite number because it's 4 x 2. Yeah. Logic.

Double digit number? Let's just say 16 because it's my number in class.

I like me my even numbers. img-1379355-5-xtWXQl1.png

My favorite number? 6, not sure why, I've just always liked it.

Apart from that I like base 2 numbers: 2, 4, 8, 16 ,32, 64, 128 etc. They are quite useful if your doing computer science.

I'd like to thank the MLP Vector Club for the images used in my avatar.

I prefer odd numbers, for a few reasons.
First, I prefer asymmetry, and odd numbers can't be divided into equal halves (I'm just going with integers here). At the same time, odd numbers have a middle number while even numbers don't, do in a way, they're more symmetrical than even numbers.

My favorite number is 9.
It's the highest single digit number.
There are all sorts of little tricks one can do with 9. For example:
And number multiplied by 9 has digits that will eventually add up to 9.
9*3=27 ; 2+7=9
9*24=216 ; 2+1+6=9

strange little thing I found while messing around with a calculator a few years ago
123456789*9 =1111111101
12345678*9   =111111102

1234567*9     =11111103

123456*9       =1111104

...

1*9                 =09

Also:

123456789*(9*2) =2222222202

12345678*(9*2)   =222222204

...

and if you omit the 8, you can make a similar pattern:

12345679*(9*1)  =111111111

12345679*(9*2)  =22222222

12345679*(9*3)  =33333333

...

If you divide any number with X digits by X 9's (i.e. 34/99, or 754283/999999), you'll get a repeating decimal of that number:

34/99=0.343434...

206/999=0.206206206...

Now, in the case of single digit numbers, you get this:

1/9=0.111...

2/9=0.222...

3/9=0.333...

...

9/9=0.999...?

but 9/9=1, right?

Well, the real number set doesn't have infinitesimals, so 0.999... =1.

There are 9 Muses, 9 Circles of Hell, 9 Choirs of Angels, 9 Ringwraiths. 9 is lucky in China, but unlucky in Japan. You're on cloud nine when extremely happy. Cats have 9 lives. Ice-nine can destroy the world.

So... yeah. 9 is best number.
