Sorrow looked around her room, now just realizing something horrible... She was hungry. And the only way that she could get food is by none other than going to the dining hall. She let out a soft whimper. That meant ponies. And interaction. She gulped. If she needed something to eat, she needed to face fears...

 

She stepped out if her room, and slowly went towards the dining hall.

Moonbeam needed to take a moment alone to calm her nerves, so she excused herself to go to the little filly's room, and she walked out of the room, looking around. She turned a corner, and there was non other than Sorrow. Her eyes grew wide and she took a step back cautiously. "S-sorrow? What are you doing here?"

Sorrow immediately stopped, turning to hear the voice. It was none other than Moonbeam... She didn't jump up, surprisingly, but she seemed to be shaking. It was getting close to her getting back inside her usual, little ball. But, instead, she didn't. And she just stood there, staring at Moonbeam.

Moonbeam sat at the table beside Firecracker nervously, listening in on the conversation. She thought, Wow, he makes fireworks? That's so amazing...She hoped she could see some sometime. Maybe I can ask him to show me and then we can get some alone time- she thought before blushing like crazy. She turned away from Firecracker, trying to hide it, but it was pretty obvious.

 

Firecracker could see her hugely blushing. "Could she be thinking about me?" he thought and let out another faint blush. He knew how to control it so it wouldn't embarrass him.

 

"Wow. That's really neat." Sunburst dipped her head politely. "I write and paint. So does Moonstruck. But it takes real precision to make a firework manually. Color me impressed." She grinned at her wordplay just there.

 

"Heheheh... thanks!" he said while grinning. Firecracker didn't really see his talent as something special but it impressed him that it was more to him than he thought it was.

After Nightraxx had passed Sorrows door and had decided to give her some time, so she wouldn't be too scared anymore, he had been going back to the dining hall, knowing the grand dinner event was going to start soon.

 

He was full of thoughts while he entered the dining hall. He hadn't even eaten or drank anything since he boarded the ship, completely having forgotten it after the events in the hallway took place....

 

Nightraxx ordered a drink at the Bar, a glass of raspberry juice. He was thinking about Sorrow...,about what she must feel inside....he didn't know, all he knew was she seemed so sad and depressive all the time...much like his old friend....in class she used to sit alone in the last row of the class, directly behind Nightraxx always hiding from everypony...that's also probably why they became best friends in the first place...he was almost the only pony she had ever spoken with ...

 

"She deserves to be happy..." he thought about Sorrow.

 

Nightraxx took a look around the dining hall. He could make out some familiar faces. Moonstruck, who was talking with another pony at the bar, and a few ponies over at a table, being conversing formally. He sat there, alone.

 

That's when he saw Moonbeam walking by the bar towards the exit. "Moonbeam...?"

"I...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bother you...I don't want to hurt you...I....I..." stuttered Moonbeam, nervous and full of misery. Nighraxx had seen Moonbeam pass by the bar and to the exit, when he also saw Sorrow, who was slowly approaching the dining hall by herself. He watched as Moonbeam suddenly cowered down into a curl-up position, probably being afraid to scare Sorrow again.

 

He almost expected Sorrow to do the same...when astoundingly, Sorrow approached the shaking ball, that was now Moonbeam for a change, and hugged her. He didn't know what to think of this, all he knew he was surpised and glad to see a positive emotion from Sorrow, who until now had been scared and cautious of everypony.

Moonbeam laid there, still crying, but with a look of awe on her face. Sorrow had spoken. "I-I...I...N-no...I....I'm sorry, Sorrow...." she sobbed. "I...I didn't respect y-your boundaries...I...I just want you to be happy...I don't want to scare you again...." She looked at Sorrow apologetically.

Hop turned to the other mare and smiled at her as well. "Hi." was all hop said in reply to the mare before she ordered a drink of her own. The situation is still a little awkward for her so she decides to strike up conversation. @@Glaceon, "So... um, thanks for inviting me over."

"No problem," Sunburst said, smiling kindly at the mare. She looked a little uncomfortable, but Sunburst couldn't blame her. She was like that herself sometimes. "I'm Sunburst, and this is Fire Sky." She gestured at the mare beside her, then said somewhat kindly, "Who are you?"

 

Fire smiled at Hop and held out a hoof to shake hers.

 

 

Ocean tore her eyes away from the colt only to see...she had walked into a waiter carrying a massive pile of plates. They all went smashing to the floor and the waiter gave Ocean a very exasperated look as the tables around them stared.

Ocean's eyes widened and she felt a blush spreading across her cheeks as she started helping the waiter clean up.

Nightraxx had watched the act of kindness between Sorrow and Moonbeam and felt happy for both. He wanted to go over there and compliment her for making a step towards her fear, instead of running from it, but he then became scared that he would scare Sorrow and cause her to run again. "I hope she can overcome her fear of me..." he thought.

Fire hadn't noticed Hop staring...she was rather distracted by another mare who seemed to have made a bit of a mess. "Poor gal." She said, looking away and sipping her drink. "I was a waitress for a few years when my brother was away in Lospegasus...I dropped more plates than you can imagine. Probably because I was trying to juggle them but you know...it was still embarrassing." She said, chuckling.

Firebolt waited a bit. She really was not one for saying she overreacted, even though she blatantly did. It was a compliment, and her eyes and the sunset did both look a bit similar color-wise. Or at least as far as she could tell. Not to mention, most ponies regarded it as beautiful. So, she really shouldn't have taken offense to it. But, if she didn't act now, Windy would leave. Which would mean her goal would have failed. So, hastily, she opened the door to the balcony using her magic, then grabbed Windy's tail, pulling him back, then grabbing him in a hug. "I should be sorry... I overreacted." She said, bluntly.

 

((I may or may not post again in the next 5 hours. I have a horseback riding lesson soon, and yea. Though I will be back again at some point today!))

Sorrow, surprisingly didn't say anything again... But instead, nodded a few times and went over and hugged her again, holding it out this time. Even her face was fighting enough to break into some sort of smile, but it had failed to do so... She still kept a frown.

I think it was more of a joke because I was talking about how fun it would be to be doing aerial silks while going over big waves." She laughed and finished her drink.
