Sanic Screwdriver 345 May 5, 2013 Share May 5, 2013 (edited) I realize there is a lucid dream topic, but I felt this could be it's own thread, I apologize to the admins if it does not have a right to. But for now, my question is What would you do in a lucid dream if you could lucid dream, or if you can lucid dream, what kind of things do you do? For people who do not know, lucid dreaming is neing aware you are dreaming, usually, you can control what happens when you become lucid. Yes it is possible to learn if you are curious about it, try looking it up, very interesting. Anyways, if I could lucid dream I would meet Sonic the hedgehog, catch and train pokemon, meet the ponies (obviously,) become a pony, eat some of my favorite foods, become an animal, fly, possibly get over my fear of heights, etc. Yes I realize lots of these are nerdy fantasies, but they are mine XD Edited May 5, 2013 by pokesonicfan11
Harmonic Revelations 8,835 May 5, 2013 Share May 5, 2013 (edited) I usually end up doing things that are so depraved and deviant that Playboy wouldn't print it. Mostly because I am a very, very sick individual. Edited May 5, 2013 by Harmonic Revelations
Sir.Flutter Hooves 2,953 May 5, 2013 Share May 5, 2013 (edited) I would probably climb to the tallest tower in the world and jump off it. Then, I would probably transform myself into a pony and gallop with Fluttershy. But, if I saw Megan Fox I would totally respect her boundaries and buy her a nice dinner and call her the next day and ask about her work. Dark Moon 965 May 5, 2013 Share May 5, 2013 Quite simple. I would fly. Doesn't matter where I would go, just that I could fly. I always think about the idea of being able to fly and this would be quite awesome to do.
Celtore 2,770 May 5, 2013 Share May 5, 2013 Mine are usually about creating an impossible world. A world of peace, prosperity and kindness. It can be sometimes a technological utopia, a small but simple village or even ponyville, but I always seem to focus on environments rather than flying or running through walls... Bowties 8 May 5, 2013 Share May 5, 2013 I have had only one lucid dream in my whole life, about a week ago, and it was quite the experience. I am pretty sure some weird stuff went down, including me trying to fly by flapping my arms about wildly, and Woodentoaster appearing out of no where and he said 'To become a pony you need to-' and then, of course, my alarm woke me up. It was very weird knowing this was a dream, and I found myself slowly sinking back into not knowing it was a dream. Definitely weird. 1 I am a clever blonde. Because screw stereotypes. Thunderbolt 35 May 5, 2013 Share May 5, 2013 Once I do remember flying around in what seemed like the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas countryside, it felt awesome. Sanic Screwdriver 345 May 5, 2013 Author Share May 5, 2013 I also thought of some more, I would probably fight some people, XD I mean like being like one of thos B.A characters and beating up a whole bunch of people, and it would probably include some things like naruto attacks XD It's not like I want to get into fights IRL, but in a dream looking awesome like that would be fun
DBG 79 May 5, 2013 Share May 5, 2013 Depending on the dream, I might just ride it out and see what happens. If I don't like it, then I make it into something that I want. You can't beat me! I AM DABESTGAMER!!!
Zerrodo 104 May 5, 2013 Share May 5, 2013 I'm often trying to find a method of prolonging my perception of time whilst in the dreaming state. That way I can spend what feels like hours, days, or even weeks of time doing a plethera of fun and impossible things when really I've only been dreaming for 60 minutes. I've had little luck with it so far and I doubt I'll be getting too far down the block any time soon, but one can at least try, can't he?
Binary 14 May 5, 2013 Share May 5, 2013 I've had a few Lucid Dreams before with the help of WILD and DILD techniques. I try to extend the duration of when I am lucid dreaming by doing simple stuff like walking around and manipulating objects. Maybe when I'm more experienced I can try pony dreams.

Starshine 16,335 May 5, 2013 Share May 5, 2013 My imagination is very active, I can't even dream to control all of my dreams even after I become fully aware of everything, so most of the time I just muck around with whatever my imagination gives me. It's quite often that I ended up blasting my way through literal walls of horror.
Night Shine 770 May 5, 2013 Share May 5, 2013 Ah, a lucid dream! Dreams fascinate me. So many things I'd love to do... -Create the realm of Equestria -Fully become my ponysona, and meet everypony ...wait, that's all that I'd want to do! XD nevermind. Besides meeting my other alternate personalities besides my ponysona, the ones that embody despair and anger, and convincing them to GTFO of my life. Still, my brain is a gigantic jerk when it comes to lucid dreams. I've actually been working on making my dreams lucid for a little while--listening to Binuaral Beats, doing reality checks when I can remember, and the like--but my mind actually comes up with ways around it. For example, one time, my mind created a two-stage dream: in one stage I was aware that I was dreaming, and I took a nap and went into the actual dream where I had no idea I was dreaming. >_< Ah well. Imma keep trying and hope for the best! :3 I should wear a reality-check wristband; that worked once a long time ago. :3
NightOwl 912 May 5, 2013 Share May 5, 2013 I've had a short lucid dream where I managed to alter the landscape but I got excited and woke up afterwards. If I had another successful lucid dream I'd visit equestria as a pony and get to know everypony there Other things I'd do would be to learn to play the piano, visit other worlds and dimensions and see who I was in a past life. 1 Signature by me avatar by Azura. Yes, a big problem with lucid dreams and even with normal dreams is that they can easily be interupted by strong emotions. Like sadness, anger, joy, etc. Not to mention is that all emotions are amplified when dreaming, becoming a big hazard to lucid dreamers.
Mutemutt 773 May 6, 2013 Share May 6, 2013 I'm not too sure. I would probably end doing the same things as I do with my daydreams, which is basically just my imagination running wild playing out scenarios that have no backstory whatsoever. Still, it's pretty entertaining; my daydreams are just like my normal dreams except a little (lot) less kooky and with much more borrowed ideas. So, to answer the question, I'd try to create movie-like scenes (action/drama/mystery/etc.).
Sazama Ichida 2,367 May 7, 2013 Share May 7, 2013 I've had lucid dreams before but now they're kinda blurry. I can't really remember enough to say. I had one again recently but now the rest is a blur. The White Shinigami

Mio Akiyama 145 May 7, 2013 Share May 7, 2013 I'd either: -Dream of being a demon hunter like Dante from Devil May Cry and slay a bunch of demons -Being my OC in Ponyville and get to know my favorite ponies -relive moments I really emjoyed in my life or go back to a bad memory and prevent it from happening by doing what I should've done -Live a life like I've day-dreamed about Just to name a few
Hyper Tumble 1,483 May 7, 2013 Share May 7, 2013 I had one before and I TOTALLY wasted it. I was given a test in school, and I just put up my feet and told the teacher to f*** off. lobsterbob 22 May 7, 2013 Share May 7, 2013 I've been thinking about trying lately because I've had some entertaining close-to-lucid experiences and I want to go back. I've had a lot of semi-lucid dreams where I could shape shift, and those were pretty cool. Really cool, like super cool. Also, I was once Goku or something and I went super saiyan and it was pretty cool.If I had one tonight I might just try out different super powers, roleplay as characters from things, anything I couldn't do while I was awake. From the dreams I could almost control that I remember, there is some bad in them. When you wake up you get such a sinking feeling, reality starts to seem kinda stupid. Might be unhealthy.
