My friends are all scattered across the country, and maybe you guys might have an idea on where they might be? For example, my friend Rainbow Dash loves speed, so she'd probably be at a NASCAR race or something. I think I do know that Applejack, one of my friends, is with a highschool girl and a traveling NASCAR driver in San Diego, I was told in a dream."

"The show is called 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic'. It was started by a woman named Lauren Faust back in 2010. It was originally garnered towards younger girls," Sam continued, before Angie cut in, "But the animation, story writing and songs drew some of the older crowd into it, which is mainly made up of teenagers, or grown men like Sam and Zed."

 

"We haven't managed to convince Logan to watch it yet, but in time, this will be remedied." Zed added.

 

"And now that I'm mentioning all this to somebody from the show, it all sounds incredibly strange." Sam said, with a slightly 'Oh God why' look on his face.

 

Logan waved a hand from where he was seated, cleaning and polishing his firearms, "So that's the show explained. What about the next half of her question?"

 

"Right, right," Angie said, sitting up as Ulysses hopped up onto the couch next to her. She scratched his head between his ears as she spoke, "I'm a bit of a singer, so I tend to go to these websites called 'forums' to discuss music and ways to convince your friends to start singing with you," She shot a pointed look at Logan as she said this. He ignored waved a dismissive hand at her. She rolled her eyes and continued, "But anyway, I was wondering and stumbled across this one blog."

 

Angie reached for Logan's computer and opened up the web browser, rapidly typing in the URL as she spoke, "This one user, who's name was  @Hypn0ticD or something like that, who said she found a girl who called herself none other than 'Rainbow Dash'. Speaking of which, I'm emailing her right now, telling her that she's not the only one who found somebody." She grinned as she finished.

 

"To add onto this," Zed's accented voice said through the phone, "I don't think your friends are just in the States. I was watching the newscast over here in England, and they mentioned various reports of 'ghost lightning' as they're calling it. The reports were listed in such places as Calgary Canada, New York, Manheim Pennsylvania, San Diego California, Racine Wisconsin. Heck, there was even one report of it in Glasgow Scotland. There was no mention of people being found in these places, but hey, they probably are connected."

 

Logan looked up from his task, one eyebrow raised, "Zed, did you say Racine Wisconsin?"

 

"Yeah, why?"

 

"The NASCAR driver that Applejack is with is named Jack Preybird. Otherwise known as Red Talon. He's got an upcoming race in Wisconsin in a week or so." Logan looked over to Twilight, grinning slightly, "I love it when a plan comes together."

Wooden chairs weren't known for comfort. "Most salads i've eaten were 60% greens, so it was just something abnormal to me. I don't absolutely have to have lettuce" she said, looking down at her salad momentarily. "As for being vegetarian? I've just seen it as wrong to kill animals and eat them... not to mention the health benefits i get" she said with a smile.

She finished doing her hair and went down to answer the door. She opened the door and smiled at him. "Hey. You ready? Lets go."

"So, provided one of my friends is in Wisconsin," Twilight said, "We'll be able to unite three of the elements?" Twilight was regaining hope. "That'll leave us with only 3 more to find!"

Logan glanced around the room as he swabbed the barrel of the shotgun, ending on Twilight, "Racine's only about a 12 hour drive from here. That's easily doable."

 

As the rest of them discussed this, Angie signed into her email, typing the address of the girl who'd claimed to find Rainbow and set about typing the message:

 

"Hey! @Hypn0ticD, right? This is Med0fficerDufrein (convenient last names for RvB references, FTW) from the forums, but I'd prefer you call me Angie here. You probably have never seen me there, but hey. I saw your post about finding a girl who claimed to be Rainbow Dash, who if you didn't know (apologies if I assumed wrong) is a character from the show 'My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic', who I just so happen to be a fan of. Being such, this post caught my eye, mostly because your story isn't so far fetched. A good friend of mine sent me a message saying he found a girl calling herself Twilight Sparkle, also a character from MLP. At first I was skeptical, but then he sent me a picture of her, and I decided I had to see myself. As I send this, I am literally sitting in the same room as her. If you could send me a reply to this ASAP that would be incredibly helpful.

 

"And now that I type this I realize how strange it is, as well as how creepy this next question will be: Where do you live? US or otherwise? Asking this because we're in Manheim, PA, and there've been news reports of strang lightning storms all over North America and even one place in Scotland.

But by the time the human girl returned, her face had re-arranged itself into a stunned grin, and her hands were on her cheeks by the time she exploded like a firework.

"This...is...AWESOME!" She bounced off walls. "Ohmigoshohmigoshohmigosh! I'm so famous! Only really famous ponies have their own stalkers! I wonder if they have an official fan club. Maybe the have badges and uniforms! Or a theme song! Hah!" Riding high clouds, Rainbow did a fist pump. "Or even my own superhero comic books!"

She flexed her hand. "I gotta' learn how to sign autographs with this thing!"
