Well, hello again! Welcome to another Roleplay hosted by yours truly, BlackShardNixium, I might as well start off by saying that this RP will probably be extremely long term, and I need dedicated people! In the past, most of my RP’s have died off, the most successful being Whisper: The City of Darkness, and least successful being Be Still ((Which, unfortunately, ended before it began due to my prolonged hiatus while I was working on school grades. It’s the end of the year, you know! Only two or three weeks left!))

This RP is is Part one of two

• Bleached (Part One)
• Vibrance (Part Two)

This particular story has been stewing around in my brain for quite some time. You’ll never believe where I get my inspiration, sometimes even I don’t! Anyways, this RP will ALSO be placed in the same Universe as Whisper and Be Still, though neither RP’s are related in ANY WAY, despite the fact that the setting is pretty much the same ((Although some things have been changed around for the RP’s benefit))

 

 

Setting the Scene:

Thousands of years in the future, long after the canon events of MLP:FiM, Equestria has been taken over by a mysterious King, who took the place of the Royal Sisters after their deaths. The Mane 6 have become the Immortal Guardians of Harmony, and spend their days guarding the heavens, refusing to communicate with those on the plane of the living, much to the dismay of said Equastrians.

Meanwhile, the seal on an ancient relic hidden deep in Everfree Forest has faded quite significantly, triggering the release of a mighty spirit known as Black. Black then invades the mind of the King and shrouds the land in darkness. Literally. The color is gone from the world. As if it never existed. Everything in Equestria is now dull. Black and Grey. Faded. Black also wiped the minds of the poor citizens. They don’t even remember color…

However, along with the release of Black, other spirits also escaped. Spectrums. Living entities of color. Just as Black resides in the mind of the King, the other spirits rest inside regular, everyday ponies, allowing them to see, yet not remember, color.

There are also others, Believers if you will, who are able to see past Black’s tricks and remember color, though like everyone else they cannot see it.

 

 

Your Character ((Starting Place)):

You walk back to your home from a long hard day, trying to ignore the rambling shouts of yet another Believer standing on an empty street corner. All that nonsense about color and vibrancy... What a joke! Even the young ones know Color is just a myth! A fantasy! Color is an impossible thing, even Unicorns can’t conjure it! There never has been, and never will be, any color! At all!

You sink down into a fitful sleep that night, strange patterns flitting across the backs of your eyelids, dazing you. Such strange shapes…. A voice calls out, soft, wispy, weak:

“We are Real”

. . .

You wake that morning to find the world filled with the most impossible things.

 

 

Summery:

In short, those who have Spectrums dwelling inside them, known as “Seers”, are the only ones with the ability to see color((Though unfortunately, they don’t remember how the world came to be colorless)). Those who remember color, but can’t see it, are known bluntly as “Believers”, and those who don’t remember and can’t see are called “Sleepers”. You can have multiple characters, one of each if you’d like. NOTE*** IF YOUR CHARACTER IS A SEER, YOU MUST CHOOSE A COLOR (ANY, EXCLUDING BLACK) TO BE THE SPIRIT THAT LIVES INSIDE YOUR OC***

Accepted! Wonderful! A very promising character indeed! As for age, I would suggest somewhere around the young adult stages. As in late teens to early twenties.

Due to the complexity of the plots, my rp's tend to become drawn out in order to explain the story properly. I'd say they are about moderate length...

Well, it depends. From time to time, I'll get someone who posts frequently ((the most frequent I've ever had was about two to three times a day)) it really depends on the players, which is why i made the rule that you couldn't post a reply until after at least two others had posted something.
