visual art So I actually attempted to draw something.

And then this happens whenever I try to draw.

Both pictures are drawings of Viola........A character from Adventure Time. I just had the random thought to sketch her while I was in math class and eventually I ended up coloring it and so forth.

 

Looking at it can give you the idea that drawing obviously isn't my forte.

The key with drawing is just hitting the paper over and over. The more time you spend drawing, the faster you develop your drawing abilities.

 

I would suggest reading books, and following guides on how to draw anatomy of "X"  so you can proportion things correctly. These can teach you how to make a skeleton to keep a good concept of how you want the drawing to come out. Then you can practice on drawing the features, such as eyes, facial expressions, etc.

 

I would just try to follow a book/guide, and try to master it from there. We all started with stick men smile.png.
