King Sombra: Half Dragon?

Is there any chance that King Sombra is actually half unicorn Half dragon? Because He seems Obsessed about Crystals the same way Dragons are about Jewerly, Also King Sombra has fangs and no pony except for him has them. Also He was about to eat Spike If it wasnt for Cadence and That Dragon in Owl do well was about to eat spike. How the chances are of Sombra being the prince of dragons?

I don't think an obsession with crystal can count as him being half dragon considering how Dragons just like to horde anything and crystal are just what they like to eat.

 

If anything, Sombra obsession is based around the crystal (I like to think of it as a Philosophers stone)  he has as his horn and the power it had and was likely looking for more of that specific crystal. So if he learn that there were some under the crystal empire he would want them.

Sombra wanted the Crystal Empire back under his control. Not because the area was made out of crystals and he wanted to eat them. As for the fangs he most likely got those because he use's dark magic. Besides he wouldn't he have wings and claws if he was half dragon?

Nah, I don't think so. Being obsessed with crystals was just greed. And I don't think he was trying to eat Spike, just attack him. I feel like if he was half dragon, Celestia probably would have mentioned it to Twilight.

Anyway, my opinion? No, he's not half dragon. The fangs are just to help show he's evil. Cuz, you know, the glowing, hate-filled eyes, spiky armor, the fact that he's one of the only two ponies in Equestria to be black (The other being my second-favorite villain, Nightmare Moon), and the fact that everypony in the Crystal Empire remembers him as this god-awful dictator didn't make it obvious enough that he was a prick.

And the crystal obsession? I don't think he's obsessed, I think whatever spell made him that shapeless shadow also fucked up his brain. Or at least his ability to speak.

But Spike is only a baby dragon and not a fool grown dragon like the other ones. If Sombra was going to gain power of a dragon. he would want wings and claws. So my point is still valid.

The issue is that he doesn't have any form of wings. Even as a baby, he should have some kind of wings, even if they're tiny and useless. Just look at your avatar, if a baby pony can have wings, why not a baby dragon?

 

And when did we start discussing gaining power? The question is whether or not he's half dragon. Nothing to do with gaining powers.

I forgot where I heard this idea, but I believe Sombra to be some carnivorous subspecies of unicorn. As to why he was after the crystals, my head canon dictates that he was preparing to wage war on other kingdoms.

He's not half-dragon. He does however, have the soul of a dragon and is the only one who can defeat them. He is......DRAGONBORN.
