This is a pencil sketch that I made of Vinyl scratch. This is my first attempt at drawing ponies. Please, feel free to leave a comment.

that is really good for a first attempt the front legs are a little far back from the neck and the neck is a little thin nut great job for a first attempt all the same

Legs are a little far back, neck is thin(yeah pretty much what the guy before me said). I love how good the mane turned out, and the part where the tail begins needs to be smaller to go in proportion to the rest of her body. Other than that, pretty good job at drawing my favorite pony

I know that I certainly was not this good at my first attempt.  You seem to have done a great job with the hair and facial details, but the thing that you lack (and the thing that I study) is pony anatomy.  Follow what was said before, and also make the top of her back dip down a little bit.  This will represent gravitational flow and accentuate the shoulder and flank high points.  But seriously, I don't think I could have done such a great job with the face
