Do You Like Day or Night Better?

Prefer the night. In fact, even if things were swapped and we woke up at night, went to school/work at night, and slept during the day, I really wouldn't mind.

It just seem so much nicer than the darkness that's the norm of night. Like the nightmare moon fiasco, when Spike runs away. Also I have to mention crystal ponies look a lot nicer in the day.

Give me a cool (temperature wise) and quiet night over a hot and noisy any day, uh...i meant night. I'd like to say we get of it but the sun makes up almost 99.9% of the galaxy so if it were to suddenly disappear the Milky way would probably collapse in on itself and we'd all die haha.

I prefer the night over the day.To me,the daytime is for getting stuff done while nighttime is the time to party and go out and about.Plus,nightly walks in the rain are always a welcome part to my day. :3

I'm a complete night owl. If I'm sleeping at night, it's because some society-driven task forced me to be awake during the day.

 

But on the flip side, I also adore mornings. There's almost nothing more awe-inspiring and beautiful than watching the sun rise. (A great reason for being awake all night as well.  ) 

 

Afternoons and evenings are the real target of my disdain. Honestly, after 1 or 2 PM, I'd rather be sleeping. Soon after this time is the hottest period of the day (I live in Texas, it's friggin' HOT) and I much prefer cold over heat. Sunsets are horribly overrated. Every once in a while, there's some pretty ones, but compared to a sunrise, they don't stand a chance. The afternoon and evening are just...depressing. My ideal sleep schedule would be to wake up at 9 or 10 PM and go to sleep at 1 or 2 PM. But unfortunately, society never truly allows this to be my norm. 

 

The night breathes new life into a day nearly forgotten, and brings about the promise of a renewed morning's first light.

Personally I love the night...but I can see why Luna would think ponies were shunning the night. If we all became Nocturnal then I'm sure the problem would be solved! But then maybe Celestia would turn evil...nevermind. I still personally love the night, its just beautiful. The stars, the moon, all those bright eyed wonders! Its a great time to draw or even read. In fact, I should be asleep right now. O__o

Both for me.  Daylight's a great time to go out and get things done, but night time is by far more relaxing.  But night time is also when I have the most stress during the semester.  The time you spend studying the night before a test (as opposed to the day before) is always somehow more stressful.)

I've been a pretty big science nerd since I was young. Physics in particular. And one of the things that got me into all that was the night sky. Being outside on a clear night in the country and gazing up at the stars has never ceased to be a relaxing and awe-inspiring experience for me.

I'm actually suprised how much the night is winning by, I expected a little bit of the opposite actually! But in all honesty, I love the night a lot more then the day. For one, he night is much more beautiful then the day in my opinion. Second of all, the moon is just awsome! Third, I just love the night for reasons I cannot explain. if you think about it there are some ecosystems active primarily in the night. Most notably the deserts around the world. Sure the day is for eating, playing, learning, shopping, and activity in general, but the night (as long as you don't have to study) is a time to put aside the cares of the world and rejuvenate mind and body. Also it's when the kids go to sleep .

I like the night better, especially when the stars are out and the moon is bright. The light of the moon is soft and gentle, and creates a strange and beautiful effect that makes everything look like silver. Luna forever!

I used to have the energy to enjoy the night. It actually wasn't too long ago that I'd pull off all-nighters getting baked and watching Digimon Tamers, horror movies and let's plays. However, now that I'm pregnant, I find myself ready to pass out in between 8 and 11 pm. I still love the night but recently I prefer the daytime. It won't be long until I'll be up all night all over again - and this time I'll have my baby to enjoy it with me.

Night!!! I love the day, but theirs just something about the night that is exhilarating. The sound of crickets, the the cool night breeze lazily blowing through the land. Mainly it's just so peaceful.

I gotta say, how skewed the results are  is a little surprising.  I thought it would be closer.  Like I said in my earlier post, I dont' have a particular appreciation for one or the other.  But I do understand how Luna came to the conclusion she did.  With th eday, we're more likely to spend it outside, going places, playing outside, whatever.  But with the night, we either sleep through it , or just plain stay inside.  So the appreciation for the night isn't quite as obvious.

It depends on who you are. One who plays sports probably prefers the daytime, whereas one who is a total astronomy nut probably prefers the night. I'm a night owl personally. I've always enjoyed staying up late at night just going on my computer. The starlight is also beautiful. I like the day too of course, it's just that I like the night more.

  I've always loved it when all the lights come on in cities.  There's something nice about the skyline lighting up, everything seems to come to life.  Plus, all the clubs, bars and lounges liven up too  .  I also just like staying up late and I'm a bit of a night owl.  Sunset feels so peaceful, then the night can be as peaceful or crazy as you want it to be .

 

  The night has some unsavory elements too that become more active, such as drug dealers.  Some say nothing good happens after midnight, and to some extent that's true.  After 12-1 am the atmosphere changes, and keeps changing the later it gets.  I just have to be aware if I'm out, and not go out alone (or get lost).  I still love the night though.

Wow, I though night would be winning but not by this much... Any who I am a night owl. I like to look up and see the wonderful stars of the night rather than a blinding sun. That and I, on a personal level, get more perks during the night than day.

During the day, I'm much more relaxed and happy, but it's at night that I'm at my most productive and creative.

 

At sunset, I am none of these things, and generally feel too tired and bored to do anything but look at the sky.

 

Still, I feel obliged to vote for daytime, if only to balance things out a little.

I despise the day and am definitely a lover of the night. Never really feel comfortable of daytime, to be honest, but sadly the daytime is the time that most businesses are open.
