Why can't youtube discussions be like that, usually it's filled to the brim with obnoxious commenters.

That type of thinking doesn't make any sense to me. An argument is an argument whether it's to your face, in a letter, over a phone or on the internet. The words still mean the same so why should you take it any less seriously?

Meh, I only parrticipate in arguments if I think what the other person would respond would be amusing. But I don't activaley go out searching for people to make rage, I'm not a troll http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png. I just wait for the oppurtunitys to present themselves on my doorstep, or the youtube comments section.

I usually say to myself "Those who allow themselves to be trolled, deserve to be trolled."

I think it's pointless to argue on the internet. I remember hearing a quote sometime ago "Even if you win an argument on the internet, you're still a loser."

I believe it was this one? "Fighting on the internet is like playing the special olympics. It doesn't matter if you win or lose, your still retarded."

Granted slightly harsh, but there is truth in it.
