Following the announcements of the PS4 and XBOX-ONE, new video games (and conversions) have been announced. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 is one of the upcoming conversions to the PS4, as well as The Last of Us and God of War: Ascension.

 

What games are you excited about? Anyone voting for either console?

I am not looking forward to the Xbox One at all. Also, the MLP game is going to be released on the Wii U, so I need to get my hands on that.

I don't really care about either the Xbox One nor the PS4 at this point. Neither consoles regularly have releases of games that I'd be interested in playing.

 

I have my eye on the Wii U, though. I'm not sold on it right now. However, I really look forward to seeing SSB4, as well as the new 3D Mario and Mario Kart U. Especially Mario Kart U (right now, that is, as it is obviously coming out quicker than SSB4), as it would be the first new game I get to play online in like five years. I don't have wireless internet so I can't connect my 3DS to the internet, but I can home consoles like the Wii and Wii U.

 

PC Gaming Brah. Theres no loss when you switch.

There is a loss, actually. Franchises I love such as the Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Super Smash Bros. etc. (and don't you dare bring up illegal downloading of the games on the PC, because I will never do that). Oh and there's the loss of a lot of money keeping your PC up to date. You buy a $300 graphics card, and there's a new one released a week later. That may be a bit of an exaggeration, but it's still too much for me.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. There's a chance it will turn up as another one of these mostly crappy 3rd party titles that foreshadowed the Wii, and will probably foreshadow the Wii U as well.

 

I might be wrong though, but I wouldn't count on it.

I'm rather disappointed with the Next-gen announcements, Microsoft in Particular. I'll be sticking with PC for a little while longer by the looks of things, or at least until I'm forced to by the new Xbox for the next Halo release.

Well for the PS3 it's The Last of Us and GTA V . Unless GTA V gets released on PC.

 

For next-gen the only one that appeals to me for now is that new Killzone game but I'm excited to see what other PS4 exclusives come up since the only reason I still use a console (specifically PS) is because of its awesome exclusives.

I won't be buying the new consoles yet, but when I do I'll probably just get the PS4 to save money. A lot of people say that the money required for the consoles could be used to buying a graphics card and a gaming PC to go along with it. But before I do, I might as well buy the most anticipated games coming out this year then set my sights on the Playstation 4.

Anyway, the most recent game announced that I'm excited about is probably Zelda A Link to the Past 2.

I'm completely excited about The Last of Us. I love Naughty Dog. 

I've already pre-ordered it and everything, and I hope rumors of Uncharted 4 afterwards is true!!
