I really need to stop procrastinating on these drawings. Well, after 2 days of only thinking about drawing it, I finally go around to it. And I must say, it came out quite well, in my opinion. I hope you like it!

Well, here she is, I guess. Looking at the paper, it looks quite decent, but the scanner did something funky to the contrast so it looks very...spotty.

 

 

Also kind of screwed up her limbs, which don't look at all like they do in the original. Still looks passable, though, right?

Imma have to redo my AJ and Twilight pictures. It makes me uncomfortable to think of how badly they turned out.

She looks better in person, scanner doesn't do it justice! Weird thing about this angle. is that the tail doesn't look like it's able to join in the right place on the rump.... but that's how the original was.

I'm convinced that Fluttershy was cheating somehow in that picture. Even with skeletal frameworks, getting that pose to work convincingly was weird.

 

Like most supermodels, I'm sure there was some photoshop touch-ups done to that one. I blame Photo Finish. 

 

 

I made myself a promise to draw these using only pencils until we've gone through the mane 6 (or at least for six pictures), before adding ink and/or colour. This one tested my resolve on that one, as I so much wanted to pull out the .005 pen to get clearer definitions.

 

I have to say thank you, @@D1SC0RD, for putting these samples up. It made me pick up my pencils again, which I hadn't touched for years.

omg guys I am so sorry for being late. I refused to log on yesterday because I had an exam to cram for, and earlier today I was writing said exam... I didn't get to log on. Also, I could NOT find a decent image. Thank you, @Accellerant for helping me out with that one.

Ah! Thanks for the notification... I emailed the photo to myself much earlier this evening and didn't even open it until moments ago. I suppose I'll post it now that I lost my first sketch streak! Hewheh <3

 

 

It's funny, I can't tell if I am getting better, getting worse, or if I've plateaued. I guess it's one of those "You'll see in time" things... a very long time

Here is my Pinkie Pie. She is by far my favorite pony. I'm not too upset with how this one came out although I think there is room for improvement. I did notice or at least feel that I was able to draw this one quicker. So maybe I'm getting comfortable with it.

I almost forgot to check this! Anyways here's my pinkie, once again doing my old method and I don't have any major flaws that I have noticed but I'm sure there are some proportion issues.

For some reason I find Pinkie easier to draw than the other ponies, just in general.

 

 

I think the Fluttershy image was more difficult because more of her body was obscured by the wings and the mane, making finding the skeleton a bit trickier.

Hehe, the mane and tail remind me of chewed gum! But I guess it's fluffy, so cotton candy would be a more accurate comparison.

Well, I'm really late to the party and it's a pretty meh attempt, but here it is anyways.  Body is too long and the legs don't look right, but at least I managed not to elongate the muzzle like has been a problem for me.  Eyes are still a problem for me, though.

It's gonna be awhile before I can get use to drawing ponies as I am use to drawing semi-chibified bipedals(Ex: Furries, Humans)

I found her really easy to draw actually! The tail gave me the hardest time but it came together fairly quickly. I know she didn't have balloon strings in the original image but I added them since they should be there. I want to color her! She's not Pinkie unless she's pink! I'm actually planning to make a large, free standing card board cut out of Pinkie Pie.

Well, I gave that a try. Lots of erasing took place on this one, but mostly I got it down...mostly. Her right hoof still bugs me.
