searching Everyone Hates Reunions

There was once a quaint family of ponies living on the outskirts of Canterlot. They were royalty, but they preferred a quiet and simple life, without much wealth and fanfare. The family consisted of Lady Soleil Dust, her husband, Lord Vibrant and their four foals;

 

--Lady Soleil Dust and Lord Vibrant are alicorns.--

Sunset Blaze (f) (Pegasus)

Blue Haze (m) (Unicorn)

Night Sentry (m) (Earth Pony)

and Berry Flash (f) (Earth Pony)

 

They lived a happy and simple life and wished to continue living that way, but all foals need to grow up and make their mark in the world. Sunset Blaze realized that she wanted to become an artist and paint all of the wonderful lands of Equestria. Lady Soleil Dust and her husband fully supported their oldest filly and encouraged her to go and achieve her dream. But after Sunset left, she never came back, she never sent a letter, and if her mother and father hadn't heard otherwise from their neighbors, they would have thought that their daughter was dead! Multiple times they sent letters, to places where they heard that their daughter was residing, but Sunset Blaze never responded.

 

This made her mother and father very sad, but their heartbreak over losing touch with one of their children wasn't over yet. Night Sentry their youngest son, realized that he wanted to devote his life to guarding the rulers of Equestria and became a royal guard in Canterlot. His duties were so much and kept him so busy that he and his parents rarely saw each other after that.

 

Blue Haze, Soleil Dust and Vibrant's oldest son, opened a perfume business and moved to Saddle Arabia, where ponies were more inclined to give his better business. Lady Soleil Dust and Lord Vibrant were too old to travel such a long way, so they never saw him either.

 

And finally, their youngest daughter, Berry Flash moved to Ponyville and opened a berry farm. Ponyville wasn't very far from where Lady Soleil and Lord Vibrant lived, so they often saw each other and kept in touch. But that wasn't enough to mend the three holes in their hearts from the lack of connection with their other children.

 

After years of growing older and not seeing their other three children, Lady Soleil and Lord Vibrant took a stand and asked their cousins, Princess Celestia and Luna to contact their children by use of a royal decree.

 

"Sunset Blaze, Blue Haze, Night Sentry, Berry Flash and all of their foals are commanded to return to their home, with their children for a family reunion."

 

Rules:

Their can be alicorns but only two.

Everypony is related so no romantic relationships.

Basically this rp is of the grandchildren interacting with each other.

But I would think of something. It's up to you.

I'd like her to be an only foal if possible.

What if no one else wants to be Susnet Blaze's foal? And besides, there are three other ponies. Oh well, whatever. She won't be used to anypony yet though >:3 so she is still shy

I am aware that there are three other ponies, but if someone else wants to be Sunset Blaze's foal, would it be fair if I said no because someone wanted that parent all to themselves?

Well, you came off as condescending, like I was some foal who didn't know what sharing meant.

I didn't intend to be rude, I was just pointing out the fact that not once did I tell you that I had to be an only child, or that you should make me one. All I said was that if it were possible, it would be nice. But it's fine if it is not possible.

hey can rouge be apart of night's foals? sure he is an earth pony guard but he was born of an alicorn mother and father so he has those pegasi genes somewhere inside him, right?

yes it said that we needed to prove that we read the story and i did he was a royal gaurd and he got so caught up in his job that he couldn't meet his family or wright to them, correct? oh and that their is no god moding or gary stus correct?

One thing I do not understand is the overall goal in this roleplay. I mean I can get the basics of this, and that there is a family reunion and all. But why must the foals be a part of this roleplay? does this mean that something important will happen? I am not quite sure as to their purpose. And OK, so this is basically the grandchildren interaction with each other. But is that all? will this just be foals talking and getting upset at their parents for not telling them about all this? Will something of a surprise happen and the grandchildren are suddenly forced to help each other? I am not quite sure if this is anything beyond a few ponies talking.

For instance I was at a family reunion on my mothers side of the family not to long ago and since I didn't know anyone to well on her side of the family I dicided to tell my cousins about how I do parkor and we set up an obsticle course for me to do and I ended up in the hospital. But after that I was able to get to know my cousins and uncles and other family members better because we did things together.

But yeah Rouge Wind is completely correct. This roleplay is a slice of life type thing, there really is no point to it, except that it is a family reunion. I mean, every once in a while I want to take part in a role play that doesn't have a super crazy antagonist hell bent on destroying the world or something.

She can be Blue Haze's daughter, perhaps? I think she would fit, sort of. At least her character. Same special talent and all. Just a slightly different backstory for this.
