Well then... looks like there's no mane six survivors. Well, lets just let the story go without them. fine by me. I didnt remember the post, so yea.

 

Yeah swiggy wrote a text wall and I glazed over it too. My guess was that the mane6 were trying to stop the snow but froze while doing it. Being from ponyville Straight Shot will have some choice words if he finds out that swiggy looted the corpses of some of his  childhood neighbors. (Hell anyone who remembers them as heroes would be pissed if that happened)

Also Twilight never got crowned, because she got hit by a mortar while she was talking to Celestia.

Now I just picturing Twilight flying through the air saying

"Everything is going to be fine!"

and then she gets shot down by a rocket.

Ok, I can understand if Swig can be highly opinionated about the war maybe even misguided, but I don't like how he pulls all these facts out of thin air to make it seem like the war was a conspiracy. Especially when it contradicts established canon. Twilight sparkle died after a mortar shell hit her while she was meeting celestia. Also weren't the mane6 in throne room according to swig? Doesn't make sense if twilight is a traitor to be in the throne room supposedly defend the thing she betrayed.

Equestia and equestrians are different things, she could be protecting her nation but not her people ponies. Maybe she had to choose between Equestia and Equestrians (therefore betrayal *hint hint*)

So...you're going off of canon that firestorm has not established. I can understand making up ranks or other stuff on the fly, but you're making it seem like we should focus on your plot of "the government lied to us and we should try to fix it." It's ok to maybe make up a battle or something but we don't know if Firestorm would allow you to make that kind of thing canon in this roleplay. I'm not judging it but I want firestorm to see it and make the call.

Heh, Swig has changed alot of things anyway.

I had nothing planned with the elements, but I went with it.

Then Swig had us ride a minecart.

And now there's a bucking train. xD

I have no idea what could happen on the train... people are just throwing random stuff in, like now we gotta find the new mane 6.

The whole story has taken such a curve from it's original form.

Now I really don't know what could happen... I mean, I have nothing planned for a trainride.

So through a train ride, we derailed the RP (couldn't resist). But yeah we could get the story back on track (sweet celestia somepony stop me) We're basically taking care of a lot of character development. Which is good! But maybe we can have the elements of harmony on the b-side of this. Only one (read the posts) TWO ponies even know we have them. We all know that we might not fit the bill for an element bearer. I'm going to go the positive route and say that we may have done terrible things but we are still good (Like my character development).

 

What really needs to happen is that we need to get off the train (of thought XD) and have more physical challenges. I haven't even been in a firefight. But this is just a suggestion.

It could be like the challenges the Mane 6 had on their way to find the elements of harmony. Except it's in a frozen wasteland and the ponies have guns. Really similar, am I right?

Personally I think the three elements that Cleo would probably be Loyalty, Honesty and maybe Generosity. Lyona could be Kindness, Laughter or Generosity. I'll probably change my mind after some future character development.  We could start making up new elements to fit everypony in, if everyone wants an element for their character.

 

What Elements fo you think will fit for Straight Shot?

my main idea was johnny and possibly cleo start a community in the university in phillydelphia, 2 groups split off in phllydelphia then once redstorms group leaves philly, we maybe do like a couple month time skip and form a new story line

If he was to get anything, he'd get honesty or generosity I think. But I almost think his message would be hollow to him until he finds that mare and make his wrongs right. The elements might think he'd be worthy, but Straight doesn't.

I know how you feel. I'be had campaigns that just get tossed out cause of derailment. Try to shoe horn something in. This "find the new mane6" deal could take YEARS if need be. And its good that there are people here who want to have winter adventures. I'm cool with that. But then we should like I said, get off the train. I wont post anymore until we get off and do some actual adventuring.
