Hey Lynette, I created a character page for Silver Note and I think he will fit in if you will have him.

I've sketched a new pic of him playing his bugle but too tired now to scan and upload it so will add it in later. Wrote his character history on a scrap of paper towel during my lunch break today so he's sooooo random! I've never RP'ed him before but I'm not new to RPing. I've played D&D and other fantasy genre rp games, including some on forums similar to this one.

The bickering and joking somehow doesn't seem out of place in the middle of the Everfree, it's brilliant!   I'm off for a few hours sleep soon, don't get into anything too exciting without me! Heh.

Wait... I do have a pony that could be an obstacle for the guards instead...

That is, if you think she'll fit. I'll wait until the RP gets started and Flutters and Twi explain things. Then I think I'll know if she'd fit...

Okay, but Fluttershy and Twilight don't really know what's the main cause behind all the noise and stuff, so they can't explain much. But, I think that an obstacle for the guards would work great in the story img-1599047-1-biggrin.png.

 

@@Mikestar,

 

He dosen't really fit in with the story, since the guards have to be quiet in the Everfree. It's a forest with dangerous animals after all.

Can you post a bit more of a backstory please? You don't have to edit your character database page, just post here how to came to be in the guard and stuff :3. It's okay, I'm a newbie too xD.

Okay so from now on, no more new characters are to be submitted. The people who have already posted here but have not submitted a fitting character can still edit/add a character to the RP. This includes: @, @@Grand_Finale, and @@Mikestar,

I think he could still fit in even if he didn't play his battle charge in the forest. He has other qualities besides the loud music but up to you. He could probably imitate bird calls with a flute etc. or play a quiet lullaby to charm or distract the animals... I dunno... lots you can do with music.  He could also fly above the tree's and play a call to arms if they needed back up or maybe he would be quite comedic as part of the group, having to always restrain himself from playing something loud! Kind of like Fluttershy taking a deep breath then saying something quiet. If he did slip up and play something loud, might add quite a twist to the RP but would take your lead on that.  He's military so he will listen to his chain of command.

 

Hes also a motivational speaker, counselor and encourager so has other things to offer, but up to you... I can write my other OC Mikestar a history but...

 

Not sure what the plans are or what you are looking for so a bit more info please.

Wanted to add, If anyone wants or needs a character portrait, I'm happy to have a go. Once we get started and things get exciting hoping to do some art work of our adventures.

 

I read everyone's character sheets :) May not remember all the details but i'm assuming that we would know each other at least a bit before the mission.

 

Looking forward to getting to know your characters! (and players)

Just jumping into OOC rather than adding to to my post in the RP thread.

 

I'm kind of head cannoning that inactive posters got lost in the woods / are on their way. On that note, think we should get some more players? Have reinforcements called in or something?

Sure! Accepted. But didn't you already add a character...? Your name was Scootalove or something like that before, and another name before that. 

 

Or maybe you're a different person with the same picture as another person who already joined and changed their name. I'm confused Dx

LOL I've actually been thinking of them as background ponies, just tagging long with out having any lines in the script. I'm assuming they are still there, and hoping people will come in and join in but if they don't maybe after a while we could realize they are lost, or that they turned back or something.

Yeah, your way makes more sense, I'll roll with that if everyone else thinks its a good reasoning?

 

If anyone else joins, we could always simply assume they were a previously unnamed background guard too.

See the Character Database thing at the bottom? That's where you begin to make your character profile. A charcter profile is basically where you store your character's information so that you don't have to type your character info every time you want to rp.

 

Then, do you see the Add Character button? Click on it again, and's here's where you add your character info. After you finish, you're done! :D
